This was a birthday gift for a grandchild. I hate shopping not knowing what the child would like. This way they get what they wanted and saves me a lot of stress.

I purchased two of these cards - one recipient tried to use the card - it was refused because it wasn't activated and I don't have a receipt except to go back on my credit card. I don't care to give that info out. Others should be warned this could happen. I'm out $107.88 but that's o.k. if it warns others and Walmart to not represent this vendor. They were customer service was not too helpful or nice.

    do not buy
    this gift card already had the money spent on it and there's only less than a dollar and they code was scratched off. i bought this for my child and he was very disappointed with me about this and walmart support won't do anything about it.

    DO NOT BUY GIFT CARDS ONLINE FROM WALMART
    I have purchased multiple gift cards from Wal-Mart and for some reason they are either not activated or I never receive them. I can't be the only person that purchases these online from this retailer. It's easy to purchase with online and they accept multiple forms of payment. However, it seems as if EVERYTIME I order there is a problem. I've spent countless hours trying to resolve these issues with them . This card came in two weeks later - spent a week at our local FedEx facility. Received my money back from Wal-Mart with no explanation of what happened or even an email telling me my money was coming back to me. There are a huge retailer with awesome prices and very, very poor customer service.

    The gift card is perfect--the delivery is awful, normally small packages w/gift cards are slid under my door, not left unattended in the apartment. Not cool

    Great gift card!
    Super easy! Can be used anywhere. Cheaper than gift card services which charge $8 for every $50 you spend. Will continue to purchase these cards from Walmart.

    Vanilla Visa Card RIPOFF!!!!
    I only chose one star because I had to. Worst experience of my life purchasing two of the $50 card! After paying $107 for both and when I receive them apparently they had not been scanned b4 they were shipped so they both had zero balances when I got them and the only thing that can b done, is to dispute the $107 charge with my bank instead of replacing cards or something,! So while they get their money I have to go through all sorts of bs and then it will still b another week b4 I get an answer if I can b helped or not! Even after I explained the cards were going to b used for Easter and that its not my fault the cards were not scanned properly or at all to activate them b4 they were sent out! Now, my family will not b able to celebrate Easter since we r out the $107 for cards that r useless! Will not b shopping at Wal-Mart anymore! Neither will my family!

    WARNING! This card was never activated. The recipient of the gift card stood at the Walmart Service Desk trying to get help while I sat on the Walmart "help" chat line trying to get help. Now I have to wait for a refund and the recipient couldn't purchase the items he needed with the expected gift card. This is the SECOND time this has happened to me from Walmart.

    Shipping problems.
    The gift card is rated a 5, but shipping problems and lack of communication about the problem gave it a 4. Fed Ex went to front door of recipient asking if they had a package coming - the driver had information, but could not find the package in their truck. All that I could get from Walmart was package Delayed - after saying it would be delivered that day. I don't know if Fed Ex lost it or what happened, but I could not get information from Walmart online. Due to their long wait time time for a chat, I opted for a 24 hr email, but never received it. The package finally arrived the following week, 6 days afterwards.
