Handsome device, really nice quality
I cannot confirm it is 40X, I would rather say it is close to 20X, but it is still enough to do the things it is mentioned to useful, like bird watching, sports, and so on. It is compact, well made, good materials, nice filling in hand. Tripod is just OK to handle this small device. And a phone mount is working pretty OK, if your phone has one camera (not like mine with 4 camera lenses ;)), but it still works fine.

    Pretty bad.
    The center focuses but the outer edges are blurry, which is really obvious when you take a picture. I was really trying this to see if I could use it for birding but this is unusable in almost every way. If you like small round pictures with only the center in focus, this is the device for you

    Positives: the scope itself works nicely. Negatives: The tripod is flimsy and tips over easily. It's very difficult to attach the phone and get it to line up so a photo can be taken.

    Great for someone with vertigo
    I purchased this on recommendation from a fellow bird watcher. I also got a tripod so I could attach my phone to the monoculture and take pictures of the birds in my yard. It works great for that and had decent adjustments for my vision and vertigo. Great value for the price.

    amazing telescope
    This is certainly an amazing monocular that I was looking for a very long time. It is sturdy and easy to hold. One can enjoy watching nature, hiking, hunting and many more with the help of this device. The monocular connects easily with the smart phones and works well. One can see clear and bright images. It comes in a nice bag and a tripod. Worth every penny I spent on this. Can be used personally or as a gift.

    good but heavy
    It works well if used as a monocular. It's too heavy for my cellphone. The tripod is too small and weak to hold the binoculars

    Works fine but misleading product description
    I would have given a four-star but the product description says it is 40X but definitely not even come close to 16X, maybe 10X. Other than that, view is clear, zoom in and out fine but again the main reason I bought this was for magnification 40X but that is a lie and should not have mention in the product description.
