Love Asus, But!
Everything runs great, looks great. Only problem I have are the hinges. Bottom right one is starting to come lose and is pushing the outside part of the screen back making it looked cracked.

HOT and LOUD...
Gets super hot and fans are incredibly loud... It runs well and performs great, but dang.. its uncomfortable to game on.

    I bought this after Christmas because my msi laptop was trash and the rgb lights are beautiful and I get a solid 60+fps in games I just wanted to say ASUS your rog laptops are amazeing but my down arrow key came off and the hinge broke and I can't find my laptop model on any replace Laptop key website

    Satisfied Asus customer!!
    Immediately from startup I knew I had made the right decision. I use this for streaming and it runs multiple webcams without hesitation. Starts up in about 30 seconds. I have only used it wired for internet so I can't say how the Wi-Fi card is. The fan does make some noise, nothing that can be heard in the background while streaming. The only improvement I could think of is more USB ports. So far so good!!!

    This Asus Rog Strix G15 is absolutely a beast of a gaming laptop. It will play any AAA game very easily. The performance I get from this beast is incredible from the fast game play, HD quality screen makes the graphics pop with brilliant colors. It has room for future upgrades and it'll bring you years of enjoyment.

    I purchased my ASUS ROG laptop mainly for gaming a few months ago. It is a great gaming laptop! I have the Nvidia RTX 3080 graphic, Ryzen 9 5000 series, upgraded to 40 gb of RAM . So it's not a surprise that it does get hot very fast. (it also sounds like a spaceship taking off (metaphorically) within minutes when you have it running on fully throttled settings. Not just in games, but just when you're surfing the web or it's sitting on your desktop. I even paid for the upgrade grease to help with the heat, etc., etc. It will play any game that is heavy duty in graphics without a stutter. However, after an hour or so of play, often times the laptop will turn off because it gets to hot! It's a fail safe apparently. I would suggest that people do not spend the extra cash on the RTX 3080 Nvidia card, and go with the RTX 3070 as honestly it runs less hot without the over heating issues. It will literally almost give your finger tips burns. The other thing you need to understand is that the wireless network card, is a NO GO. It's as if ASUS went with quality everything ACCEPT for the type of network card. I have 7 other devices. From Macbooks, another PC, Pixel Phone, iPad and ALL pull 700-950 mbps download and 35-41 mbps upload speeds. The NIC on this PC is just garbage. You're lucky to get 350-400 mbps download speeds hard wired and 200 mbps wireless. That's not ok for my needs or for the type of competitive gaming I do online. ESPECIALLY for what I paid for this laptop. The NIC that it came with is junk - MediaTek Wi-Fi 6 MT7921 (UPGRADE IF the option is ever available) I had mine custom built (added upgrades, but there was no option for the NIC unfortunately, hopefully you will have the choice. If you can put up with that, I can say this computer is beautifully built! The keyboard is responsive and built nicely. The laptop casing is durable and very beautiful to look at. It's also thin, and packs a HUGE amount of power. Battery - For all the power it needs to run what it does, it honestly won't last you more than 35-37 minutes without being plugged in. (Playing games like Call of Duty, Fortnite, CyberPunk 2077, etc.) This is definitely more like a desktop replacement...You have the power options you can save your battery's life span by keeping it plugged in (which you will want to do when gaming anyways) Display - It's a great refresh rate, but could be better when it comes to colors and brightness. That's where you just get a good external gaming monitor. If you run your computer in performance mode only, THIS DOES help with the heating issue, but what's the point of having a high end computer if it can't fully run it's fully capabilities of its hardware without dying of heat after a short period of time?

    Christmas wonderful present!!!
    My 4 sons bought this Strix for my Xmas gift. It was the best I ever got!! This made me be able to finally to play all of my game at the highest levels. I started playing as soon as I opened the great box. I love it!!!

    amasing is te easiest way to describe it.
    amazing is the simplist way to describe this gaming laptop. running a 2070 rtx with a i7 10th gen it bets even some desktops that ive looked at. lets not forget the turbo performace fans that cools this laptop off as you push for better graphics in almost every game and a slick design to finish off this wonderful gaming laptop. if u purchase this i ca guarantee that the money is worth it and you will not be disappointed.
