Smooth ball Bering operation.

Not a baitcast
Not a baitcast pole despite the name. Box was damaged when arrived. Delivery was several days late. Customer service not helpful.

    Wrong items received but will keep them anyway. Original order was just reels only. Walmart sent combos with a much cheaper reel attached. Will order requested reels later.

    Can't beat it for the price
    I picked this combo up on a road trip. Based on the low price point I didn't have very high expectations. After a few days of use, I am happy to report that it has become a favorite in my quiver. Does it have the sensitivity of a Phenix? No. Is the reel as smooth as a Revo? No. Is it a good all around combo for 99.9 percent of bass fishing? You bet it is. I keep this one spooled with 10lb Fireline and couldn't be happier.

    way stronger than id expected for a $40 rod
    great rod and reel!!! ive caught so many different fish, i was skeptical with the price until i caught this monster carp!! i expected this rod to break! but it held up great!!!

    Discouraging engagement for first rod!
    The Abu Garcia Black Max Low Profile Baitcast Fishing Combo was sent in a box that is inappropriate for the rod and the handle was missing from the rod and was not in the box. The tip of the rod is also broken. I was promised another ord would arrive on the 7th of June, but it did not arrive!

    This combo is worth the money!!!
    I bought this combo two years ago. And fish a lot of big lakes with nice small mouth. This pole is great, it is smooth casting and the retrieve is great. The flex is a medium heavy and love it for jerk bait fishing. I will always have any Garcia in my boat !!! Thanks for great products.

    Great Combo
    Bought this combo for a kids fishing day that our Muskies Inc. club was having. The kid that won the prize had an ear to ear grin after winning Black Max spinning combo. The child will have an excellent fishing pole to learn with now. Makes you feel great to put a smile on a kids face.
