Give it a ten.
Few products today live up to a 5 star rating. This product is s 10. Easy to assemble and picks up everything including pine needles very efficiently. Easy to dump and built to last. I spoke to someone who has had one for many years and after much abuse it is still working great. Good job!!!

Worse design
I bought this new and only used a few times I had it on the second to the highest setting. The plastic wheel gear stripped out and now sweeper is junk. Why would you design a plastic gear against a metal gear. The wheel gear should be metal also to prevent immediate breakdown

    Good sweeper but design skimping
    I have owned 6 sweepers over the past years. Two were not agri-fab. Agri Fab by far is the best. However, what I have noticed over the years is that while the main design stays constant, there are small changes that are not that great. First it the the clasp and pin to lock the height use to be a knob that was able to be pulled and lifted which much easier for the operator to utilize. That was moved to a straight pin and clasp, more difficult as I get older. Second, this is more important, on the last model I purchased 4 years ago, the arms where the basket hangs had spring locks, the new 2022 model has slots and depends on only gravity. This causes the grass catcher to detach easily if I move my lawn tractor with the basket pulled upward. I definitely would recommend this feature be restored. If I had the arms from the other catcher before I gave it away, I would have exchanged them out. Other than those two issues this is a good sweeper. This is the reason for the lower rating.

    My new toy.
    The only thing I had a question on was were the wheels already oiled? And where was the tow mode lever at? They were not noted in the manual.

    You will love this sweeper!
    The store person helping to load the box in my truck said he had this sweeper and was extremely satisfied. He was so right! Got it to pick up leftover leaves in the spring & now to catch grass clippings while mowing. Then will be back to the leaves in the fall. Great features not found on other sweepers is the ability to fold it up for winter storage in the garage and the handle to dump the load from the lawn tractor seat. Don't hesitate to purchase this sweeper.

    Love it!
    This sweeper is an amazing workhorse. I'm 70 years old and no longer fear raking leave. I'm a little disappointed in the construction, but I admit the price is amazing. The plastic basket was starting to tear from rubbing against metal, but warranty service is great. They sent me a new basket. One other issue is the lower, leading edge. A few times I have hit tree roots and it has bent the edge. I hammered out most of the damage. I don't see it affecting the performance.

    Lawn sweeper
    Product arrived a little banged up. Took me about 30-60 minutes to put it together. I set the height and did a test run on the yard. Worked fantastic! I recommend that you do NOT overfill. It makes it difficult to dump. Not impossible just harder than it needs to be. Err on the lesser full side. I was using my sweeper with a large zero turn mower and I could not reach the handle to dump from the tractor. I figured that would be the case but I opted for the steel rod over the rope pull model because I didn't want to deal with the rope getting caught up in the brush. It's bigger than you think!

    Great Machine
    Just use this machine today behind a ZTR. The machine was easy to put together with all holes being open and lined up. Just followed the instructions and shortly the machine was together. I am not very fond of the spacer that is to be used with the hitch but that is nit-pickin. Started and it was not picking up much but then i had not set the brush height. So i set the brush height and off we go; working good but not great. Adjusted brush height and off we go again and this thing is a BEAST. Man this the only way to handle leaves and most other yard trash! All i can say is thank you. Emptying the hopper is a pain in the old sack though. Still working on that one. I love this machine and really recommend it unless you like raking leaves.

    Great Product
    This would be a 5 out of 5, except for the wheels. This is a great product for a one man law operation. Easy to operate and picks up the leaves and grass clippings with out a worry and extremely light weight. Only issue I have is the plastic wheels. The gear tooth on the wheel is plastic but the metal gear inside the housing grinded down my wheel teeth. Recommendation, would be to build a metal wheel or figure out a way to prevent the gear from wearing down so easily and quickly. I bought replacement wheels already so we will see how long they last this time. All in all, still a great product perfect one man operations and easy to operate and assemble. Thank you

    Works great
    I bought one because our son is a junior in high school and it was his(our) turn for the seniors to toilet paper our yard! Not only that, they put shredded paper in our yard as well! Almost impossible to pick up. Bought this sweeper at our local agri-supply and wow, what would have taken me 8 hours or more straining my back took me an our to sweep up with my new best friend. Not only that, now I sweep up the cut grass for our chicken pen which also reduces the mess that our inside dogs use to bring in on their paws! Wife is happy, I am happy!
