Highly Recommended
I bought this product because it appeared to be constructed better than the green ones that every one uses, and it was not as expensive as the commercial ones that I looked at. I used it for the first time to over seed my 3/4 acre lot and then I applied some starter fertilizer, and I would like to say I could not be happier. The Agri-Fab 130 is incredibly stable and the flow is accurate and smooth operating. I can say with a great deal of certainty, that I expect to get many years of service from this spreader.

Gears slip every half turn
Spreader is very heavy duty and solid and should last a very long time. The controls are easy to work as well. I gave it 2 stars because the large gear that turns the broadcaster is way too loose, with too much wobble and causes the gears to slip every half turn. I've been in contact with agri-fab about this already and they are aware of the issue and are in the process of replacing the gear with one that has a straight bore instead of a taper which is allowing it to wobble and slip.

    Great Investment for Lifetime Tool
    I have been using Scott's Brand broadcast shredders for years and continue to replace them due to light duty rating. The Agri-Fab is tough as nails and I get applications done in half of the time. Great investment.

    I have not used it enough to give it a true rating yet. Easily assembled. The quality of the materials is what you would expect for this type of equipment. I do like the large tires. It was a bit expensive for what you get. However, the price is in line with the market.

    Superior quality and great instructions
    This is a big, burly, walk-behind spreader. We have a very rough yard, and this unit with its larger wheels and strong frame rolled over it easily. Assembly is fairly involved but went smoothly for me, thanks to three things: (a) the parts are neatly packaged and all of them were there; (b) everything fit together perfectly; and (c) an excellent, printed instruction manual that takes you through the process in a detailed, step-by-step fashion.

    10/10 Professional grade broadcast spreader IMO.
    Professional grade broadcast spreader IMO. Thick, strong, super large poly hopper tub for product. Very nice 13" tall pneumatic tires. Flow control assembly and control rod are very well made. Step-By-Step assembly is very easy to follow with no problems at all. Watch youtube.com / Agri-Fab 45-04622. One change I did make was the drive wheel (the one with the cotter pin). Instruction calls for it to be on the right side (as you're pushing). This made the spreader impeller spin counter clockwise. The impeller I received clearly is made for a clockwise rotation throwing product from left to right. I disassembled the drive axle/gear from the frame flipped it around and re-assembled so the drive wheel is now on the left side now giving the impeller a clockwise spin rotation. I also disassembled the drive gear assembly plastic housing and put a little oil on moving parts to insure smooth operation. Overall, I am very pleased with this spreader. Do not hesitate to purchase. I found the best price at Walmart and they delivered right to my house for FREE. Hey, there are a lot of spreaders out there and this one ranks right up there with the pro models.

    I quickly & easily applied 600lbs of pellet lime to my wildlife food plot. Very comfortable handle position. Clean-up was also quickly done compared to my Utility Tractor Cone style spreader.

    Awesome Spreader/Agri-Fab 130lb Push Spreader
    Been looking for a spreader that will throw consistently and I found it with the Agri-Fab 130lb. Spreader. Found the spreader easy to assemble and easy to use. Pneumatic tires make pushing the spreader really easy over bumpy ground (my yard is not the smoothest). I have a very large yard (almost 2 acres), should have probably purchased the pull-behind 130lb. spreader instead. Will it hold 130 pounds of granular fertilizer? No! But it will hold 100 pounds and that's plenty to be pushing around. I have only used it to spread granular fertilizer. Walk at a good steady pace and this spreader will do a great job for you. I really like it! I would definitely recommend.

    The assembly instructions were a little vague which led me to use the incorrect spacer. This led to the spacer used to be damaged. I requested a replacement spacer from the company and they were quick to respond with another spacer, but it.was the wrong spacer. Again, I think this was caused by the poor description and labeling used by the company. I decided to purchase from a local hardware some washer that would do the job of the damaged part. Spreader appears to work ok and looks well built. Have not had a chance to use, hopefully it will last for a long time.

    Another really nice Agri-Fab lawn option
    Works very well. It feels so much more solid than my prior two "consumer" items. Nicely holds a good 1/4 acre worth of seed, fertilizer, etc. without any problem. The mechanism for delivery is much more likely to last than the plastic "joints" that I find in the small Scott's or Chapin products. Of course I had to assemble it, but kind of enjoy laying out the parts and knowing exactly what goes into making it work, so not a negative for me. I would highly recommend many of th Agri-Fab items (this is my 4th). The other three I have are for towing behind the lawn tractor/zero turn mower. Might even consider getting this item in the tow model, given how well it seems to spread.
