Well made product
I decided I'd rather have a pull type fertilizer spreader than my old push buggy. I bought this spreader because it was reasonably priced and the reviews rated it highly. I haven't used it yet but I am very happy with the way it went together. It's a good, solid product with simple, straight forward instructions. All parts were there in neat packages. Everything fit exactly as it should.

Not a good product
I bought this product about a month ago, the spreader control cane broke and all detached. I call the company and they send me a new one. I installed it, but when you are adjusting the spreader the cable on the control box comes out and it will not open/close the where the fertilizer comes out. I am very disappointed about the product. I have purchase other AGR-fab product and have not any problem. I hope I can return this product as it does not work.

    The control on tjis spreader is useless. It does not hold a setting when you push the lever to open the slide that lets the fertilizer out, so it pushes all the way forward and dumps piles of fertilizer on the lawn. I now have fertilizer burn spots on my fron lawn. Don't waste your money on this piece of junk.

    Put it together it is ok. Short a cotter pin Ok home owner spreader for medium size lawn. Tires are good

    Can't UseNew Spreader Quite Yet
    I'm sure my new spreader will operate fine. When I received it, two of the parts were the wrong size. 1.) The Flow Plate was for the next size smaller spreader. 2.) The Tube Stand was for the next size larger spreader. Needless to say, I can't use the spreader yet, but parts are on the way.

    Sturdy and will be putting this and my husband to work this spring and winter. Will be using it to spread ice melt on our driveway. Good size and easily handled. We will also use this to spread ice melt on the gravel in front of our house to keep dust down. Larger and sturdier built more heavy duty than the less expensive ones. We won't have to refill it as often .

    Spreader is good for rough sloped terrain and for that I am happy with product. The assembly manual was pictures which was mostly okay except there was no pictures of how to assemble the cable assembly which was not assembled. I look on manufactures site and no information on how to assemble, and searched internet and You Tube with no luck. I played around with it until I got it to work. Spent more time with cable assembly than with the rest of the spreader.

    I'll tell you what it is... it's gahbage!!!
    This thing is a piece of garbage! When put together, the POS is rickety and wobbly. the spread control lever is completely useless. The flap doesn't close when the lever is in the closed position. Plenty of fertilizer lost because of this. I just had to pull it out and push it in by hand. And where do they get 85lbs? I put (2) 15 lb bags in the hopper and it was filled. I didn't want to spend a ton of money on a Lesco, but they are truly superior products. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. I'd like to return it, but I don't want to take it apart. It wasn't much fun to assemble in the first place. I'd give it away, but I don't want the receiver to think I'm playing a prank on them. I am a professional. I have a rep. to uphold.

    Works great! Love the sturdy tires and the controls at the top of the handle. Just was unclear as to the correct setting to use when reading the manual and the fertilizer bag.
