Consistently good quality and chuck flavor
Walmart ground chuck is a staple at our house. I buy in the store and always have several packages in the freezer. Whether I cook same day as purchase, keep in the frig and cook over a few days, or thaw and cook same day or over several days, it has always been good. When I accidentally bought 85% fat free ground beef we immediately recognized the difference in flavor--even with higher fat content ground chuck tastes better. The price is fair and has not increased even with overall inflation.

    Came 3 days before expiring and with holes
    Bought 2, both came in a produce bag full of blood from leaks. when we tried to cook them 4 days later the meat itself was spotted with grey spots and the expiration date was passed.
