WiFi is PCI and Bluetooth is usb internal header
Works well but does require use of usb 2.0 header to power Bluetooth side of chip. PCI only works WiFi.

works great in both Linux and windows 10
Works out of the box with Linux (driver's in the kernel it's using intel 8250 chip). Was a little scared it had a high tx retry rate (approximately 40% packet loss) but figured it's due to the pci aspm default policy and power saving turned on. To save you some trouble setting up, here's the command I used to achieve close to 0% packet loss from 40% previously: echo performance > /sys/module/pcie_aspm/parameters/policy echo options iwlwifi power_save=0 11n_disabled=1 power_level=5 > /etc/modprobe.d/iwlwifi.conf echo options iwlmvm power_scheme=1 > /etc/modprobe.d/iwlwifi.conf iw $YOUR_INTERFACE set power_save off

Excellent wifi card for the money! Intel chip!
Bar none one of the best wifi cards you can buy! That's it in a nutshell. Why? For one, I tested my download speed via testmy.net and it did just as good as my main pc that has an ethernet connection. The wifi card is for my 2nd pc that will be put to OBS Studio duties soon. Also, any modern Linux distribution should run this out of the box with minimal setup. In other words, plug and play. This wifi card went into a brand new build running an ASRock motherboard, 8GB of ram and Pentium Gold processor (2 cores; 4 threads). Wifi speeds are phenomenal despite the wifi antennae being a good distance away from my router. Also. This has bluetooth. I ran the cable from the back of the wifi card to the USB headers on the motherboard. Bluetooth via this card works 100% in Manjaro 18 and Mint 19.1 The card identifies as an Intel chipset in the Linux dmesg log. I would suspect this card would work well with Windows 10 also. If any of you are running Linux and are looking for a good wifi card, seriously give this one a try.

    worth the money!
There are many $10 - $15 PCIE wifi cards available out there. I am glad I put in some extra money and got this instead! Wifi is rock solid across two rooms and on top of this supports 802.11 AC wifi standards. There are no issues with HD streaming and gaming. Everything works seamless as if on a wired LAN connection. The bluetooth had initial hiccups as the driver in the CD is old and Intel has fixed may issues recently. Suggest you to uninstall any existing bluetooth drivers and install the latest driver directly from intel.

Works well, nice upgrade from g/n
I bought this to make a desktop computer more portable. Now I can move the desktop to anywhere there's a power plug. Works fine on Linux and Windows 7, but the Linux installation is much easier since the drivers are built into the kernel.
