Cuts down brush in my ditches!
I purchased this because I needed to cut brush in my ditches that my weed-eater couldn't handle. Only complaint is the cord isn't longer!

Aggravating
I have used a wide range of b and d equipment over the years mostly battery operated but hedge Trimmers were to exhausting so I purchased this electric trimmer that at first was a joy that became a nightmare. Cutting to the right is a breeze however cutting to the left the saw blade continually hangs up and stops progress which leads to serious frustration over and over to the point where I got so mad I yanked the saw out of hedge and caught my glove and cut my finger, so no i would not recommend this unless u only want to cut to the right

    It does the job . Will not recommend. Too hard to go purchase(same day) replacement parts. Too hard to find info for type of and where to (recommended) grease. My trimmer heats quickly. ..started to smoke/burn the last time I used it. "Warranty" is pointless and an butt ache

    I bought this item because of the reviews stating how lightweight it was and easy to handle. I was very pleased with the results. The guard piece as others mentioned did have a tendency to fall off so I really did not bother placing it back. The trimmer was easy to handle and I actually enjoyed trimming my hedge.

    Great trimmer!!
    Bought this hedge trimmer on the recommendation of a family member and also from actually using their trimmer on my hedges as then I didn't own one. I was very surprised at the way it felt and it's ease of use. It's not real heavy and can trim up a decent sized hedge in a matter of minutes. Battery is decent for a lithium and only had to change once during the day and trimmed about 20 overgrown hedges. Blades are nice and sharp, I don't believe they have ever sharpened the cutting bar. I recommend this product to the DIY or even the professional business owner. Great product!!

    Just the right size.
    I needed a small but powerful trimmer that I could use around my house. This trimmer is lightweight but cuts everything you might have growing around your house and garden. It is so convenient that I can use it myself without having to bother my husband when some trimming needs to be done. Highly recommend this small trimmer.

    Oh man this is the king of trimmers! Really works so easily for me! I've had a number of different brand trimmers and they all feel so heavy and are hard to use. This product is very light weight, which makes it easy to use on all bushes and hedges! We have 3 acres of land, which is a huge task! Since I have bought this trimmer it's been a life saver. It cuts smoothly with little effort! O also found it never gets jammed or stuck which makes it even better! Has no problem cutting through thicker branches. Just amazed how easy this is to trim with! You will not regret this purchase!

    Nice and Powerful Hedge Trimmer!
    I am very pleased with the Black + Decker 16 in. SAWBLADE™ Electric Hedge Trimmer! The design is very modern and it's even easier to use compared to my previous trimmer. I can effortlessly trim hedges over 1 in thick and the cuts are clean and very little mess. The motor starts effortlessly and is very powerful for heavy-duty yeardwork. It's not as noisy as I expected it to be, which is very good. All the control buttons are easy to use and intuitive. I like using 16 in. SAWBLADE™ Electric Hedge Trimmer for all my bushes and hedges. I definitely recommend 16 in. SAWBLADE™ Electric Hedge Trimmer to anyone!
