Handy Tool to own
I bought these trimmers to replace a older Black and Decker 20 inch trimmer. So far they have worked very well and has reduced the time needed to trim the 27 landscape bushes I have in the yard. I do wish however that they were 20 inch instead of the 24 inch but as far as the pivoting feature thats great.

Disappointed
For being a Black and Decker I'm more than a little disappointed with this trimmer. It is supposed to cut up to 3/4 inch branches. It will cut twigs and small 1/4 inch branches fine, but anything bigger than that is a stretch. It chews on the branch until it finally cuts through, but the cut isn't clean or quick. It was easier and quicker to get the manual cutters out. Kind of defeats the purpose of buying a power trimmer. The ragged cut can't be good on the hedge. When done it looked like a herd of beavers came through and trimmed my hedge.

    Trimming Love of my Life...
    I bought this a year ago to replace my older B&D Hedge Trimmer. It has become the love of my life, easy to use, lightweight and rotates just how I need it to. You cannot go wrong with this Trimmer at all.

    Bigger is Better
    I have a 16 inch hedge trimmer so it was really time for an upgrade. This trimmer works great and did the job so much faster. I am surprised how light if feels.

    All in all nice unit
    Wanted 4.0 amp. The button to stay on or off is difficult so concerned about durability. Power is ok. Length is plentiful. Light weight. All in all happy with purchase as it does perform well.

    Just what I needed
    My next door neighbor is an elderly lady. Her yard man has supposed to have been trimming the hedges on her property for the last several months and has not yet. I have no hedges in my yard so had no need for hedge trimmers. I have a pair of handheld trimmers and decided I would go over to trim hers for her. Big mistake! She has way too many to do by hand. So, the only reason I bought these was to trim my neighbor's hedges for her since her lawn company keeps neglecting them.

    I highly recommend this hedge cutter. Made my life so much better because i have many small round hedges in my yard and with this larger Black and Decker Hedge Cutter it was quicker and easier on my back.

    Easy to Use
    I received this trimmer as a Christmas Present and have used it 2 times this Spring. The one thing I love about it is the fact that it has a little plastic piece in the handle that allows the power cord to hook into and IT WON'T UNPLUG by mistake. That's huge with me. It is also lighter weight that I thought it would be. I haven't used the rotating handle because it takes time to turn it and it's not worth it for the small jobs I'm dong.

    Best Corded Hedge Trimmer Available
    I bought a second one these Hedgehogs this season so that I've got one handy at both property locations. Very fast cutting and capable trimmer without the two cycle engine noise. The 24” length is great. Makes quick and accurate work of hedges and shrubs.

    Light weight -- easy to handle.
    Bought this to replace an attachment to my gas trimmer. The attachment made the trimmer heavy and hard to maneuver. This is much lighter and with the rotaing handle, made it easier to handle and less tiring. It cuts cleanly and fast through some pretty tough hedges and shrubs. I still don't like dealing the the cord -- but, that's the trade off. Another nice feature is the notch at the back of the handle to loop the cord around to keep it from unplugging while you're working with it.
