This was horribly packaged !! A cut up box covered the front of the doll box and plastic wrap was wrapped and taped around the top of the doll box. Once I opened it all up the doll box looked a little beat up and old, but the doll itself looked ok. It is a gift for my niece so she probably won't even notice.

    Shorter than typical
    The Barbie is fine. I just came to write that she is about a head shorter than the typical Barbie. I figured they would write that in the description somewhere, but they didn't. Obviously nothing wrong with being short, as I am short myself. I just didn't know if was on purpose. This is our first shorter than typical Barbie.

    Nice details
    Doll is made well and normal size and the kitty is small but larger than most accessories. Looks exactly like the image. The kitty is a cute touch to the set. The doctors coat and stethoscope are great additions to make this a realistic set. Granddaughter loves it.
