Works fine.
The 23" wide fit fine , but the height was to tall by about 1/8". The unit sits back a bit from the opening , but is really not that noticeable. I had to attach 2 L brackets on the bottom in back of this unit to hold it in place. As far as the operation of the heating unit, I have no problems so far. All in all this unit is a good value for the cost.

    Love the electric fireplace!
    We are very happy with our electric fireplace! Looks great! It arrived earlier than expected. Simple to install and operate. We haven't tried the heater part, but really bought it for the ambiance.

    Very nice fireplace.
    I would have give this a 5 star rating except that in the description it measured 26". In reality the glass was much less and the mounting flange was 26" So it was a bit small for the opening I had. I was able to construct trim around the whole thing to cover the space. Had the glass been 26" and then had the flange it would have been perfect. Otherwise, it works great and looks great.

    Great for the price
    I have had a fireplace for many years that did not work. I finally took the time to research the inserts which would enable me to use it again. This took me minutes to install and though it did not fit perfectly into the space, you can not tell this from looking at it. I love the flames. I do not intend to use it as a heater as our space is warm enough with our heating system. I wish I did this 5 years ago!
