The connectors are too small to properly attach to the original chain . The beading is smaller than the normal chains. Trying to cheapen things they created a product that does not work. My sil finally got one attached but two pulls later and it was off.

    Exatly what we Needed!
    Such a simple thing makes a huge difference! Our new home has high ceilings; builder installed fans with short chains and ran every one on High. These chains can be cut to desired length, look great, and most of all let us enjoy each fan and light at desired speed, etc. Good quality and well packaged.
