Burn your candles in a lantern of style
I love my lantern. It is beautiful just to look at ,but most of all I love the neutral color that enables it to blend in anywhere I put it. I can place it on the hook on my patio or on my countertop or tabletop and even my bar. I like the vent opening at the top of the lantern, that allows the aroma of my favorite scented candle to fill the air. I could place almost any size candle inside my lantern ,as long as it didn't extend to half the size of my lantern. It has an easy to grasp and carry handle to use when transferring to another area in my house. I like that it has the glass door and the glass that encircles the lantern. This allows me to see light from my burning candle from all sides and it is so beautiful and calming to look at. It is Mesmerizing to see my candle light burning inside this beautiful lantern.

This was sent to me scratched all the way down to the metal in several places..not to mention it was sat in my front yard instead of my porch when it was delivered..definitely returning for a refund! It's a nice size lantern for the price but is very beat up and didn't arrive in a box!!!! Walmart should be ashamed!!

    Disappointed
    When I opened the package, I was amazed that it didn't come packed in bubble wrap. First impression was OMG it's beautiful then that quickly went away when I saw the crack in the glass. I immediately called customer service but they were only able to refund my money. The lantern was out of stock and couldn't be replaced. I would have rated it a 5 stars but it came damaged so I gave it 3 stars instead. So disappointed.

    Very well made. I loved the shape, and the three sizes was the look I wanted. I found the medium and the small in the store, I came home and found the large online. It arrived quickly and was very well packed. Each one was priced very reasonable.

    Okay as a Decor Piece
    This piece looks the part, but is not well made. Its great as an inexpensive simple decor item - but dents easily, so if actually used regularly it would break. Upon arrival the latch was off and the door hinge was dented, so I bent it into place. Poor manufacturing - but it looks great from afar, if thats all you need.

    Simple lantern and very reasonably priced.
    This is the perfect little lantern! It feels more sturdy than a similar style I have from Bed Bath and Beyond. I have two of them and they are outside on my deck with some battery operated candles. (The tag does say that you can use real candles.)

    Gorgeous!!
    I am very pleased with this purchase! They're beautiful! Very sturdy, look expensive and so glad that I didn't purchase some at Kirkland's that where way more expensive. I saved so much money and you can't beat the price I'm blown away! Very pleased the only bad thing is I wanted all 3 lanterns and I was only able to purchase two. But definitely going to be on the lookout to purchase the small lantern!! These will go on my fireplace but just took picture to show you how beautiful they are. Also I added those candles I purchased from Amazon. I would highly recommend will not be disappointed!

    Large, sturdy and beautiful
    Exceeded my expectations! Looked at paying 6x this at another retailer so excellent value. I ordered the medium ones since large was not in stock then went to write a review on medium to be pleased that large was in stock and ordered those too. Also shipped very quickly and packed well. Grab them while you can.

    Simply Elegant....
    This lantern by better homes and gardens really is a lovely addition to our decor. It is about 6.5in. square by 20in. tall and is not lightweight so no worries about it accidentally tipping over. It seems very durable and well made. It is meant to hold a 6in. pillar candle. The sides are arched glass panels and the finish is matte black. There is a small latch to close it. When shipped, it was stuffed with bubble wrap and double boxed to protect it, so if you can't find it at your local store, rest assured it will arrive in good shape. We have ours in our living room for now. We have it burning when we are relaxing there and the flickering candle inside the glass enclosure provides a serene calming ambience, perfect after a hectic day at work or anytime really..... When the Spark team offered this for review, there were a couple sizes to choose from and I chose the largest one. I love how it looks so much, I will look into purchasing the other size(s) to show them off together either in our living room or on our patio. They would be very nice both indoor or outdoor. Simple yet elegant, goes with everything. Again seems well made. I'm very pleased and I highly recommend...

    Well made decorative lantern
    I am a fan of Better Homes and Garden decor. They offer quality products at an affordable price. This small black lantern is excellent quality. When you pick it up by the hook at the top, it has some weight to it. The metal is rigid, the seams are finished and smooth. All the panels surrounding the candle are glass so this is an extremely fragile piece you would want to keep out of reach of the kiddos. I received the small size lantern and it is seventeen inches to the top of the loop so even the small is considerable. I noticed the latch actually works every single time. There's no jiggling needed to get it to match up with the hole. It simply rotates and locks and unlocks easily. The tag suggests using a four inch pillar candle for safety. I ended up using a taller candle because I thought it looked better, but I don't ever plan to actually burn the candle so it's not an issue. At some point, I may purchase one of those battery operated candles that flicker just so I can see what it would look like lit up at night. I'm already considering buying the medium and large size lanterns to add to this one and display them together on my mantle.
