Very pretty
Love the look of the Better Homes & Gardens Light Filtering Cotton Balloon Shade, Grey, the size is perfect for the window by my stairs. 42" x 63“. The detail and texture I'd very nice. I hung it up, definitely needs to be ironed, the ties. Very easy to roll up the bottom of the valance & use the Velcro strap to hold the valance. I don't see the straps on the inside. The Velcro holds it up nicely. It did take me a couple times to bunch up the bottom to where I like the look. I don't think it's very light filtering. I have a shade on my window to add more filtering. It's very pretty I love the detail in the white border stripe. It's not too visible with the sun shining through, but at night it shows more.

Looks sloppy.
I really wanted to like this balloon shade, because I thought it would look great in my bathroom. However, upon trying to hang this thing, I have discovered that no matter what you do it is going to look sloppy. The ties do not actually act as ties. They are sewn down, and there are Velcro strips to hold the curtain in place. I tried pinch pleating the curtain and picture number one is what I got. Then I tried rolling the curtain, and picture number two is what I got. If there had actually been real ties, I think this shade would have worked well.

    Practical and cute curtain
    This curtain is a thick fabric and great neutral colors of light tan and black. A simple design that matches everything in my kitchen. Looks great in a kitchen window and let's in light. This is not a room darkening curtain but it provides privacy and looks attractive

    Just received very well made, nice color, have hanging in livingroom Door to helps to block the sun. In package u get one panel. Will Be ordering more for the rest of windows in livingroom. I would recommend this item I like it without tying up. Either way is good

    Looks good, could be a bit more functional
    Overall I like this balloon shade for my needs. But note these will not keep out much light at all, especially when let all the way down in a single layer. I wanted something to cover a cheap ugly pull down vinyl shade and for that, it works well. My only complaint is that I wish there were more ways to tie it up. There ties have a square of velco and on the back of the shade are two sets of squares to stick them to. I just wish there either was a third set, or maybe if the top strip of velco was longer to provide some fine tuning. As it is, for a standard window height, you can either let the shade out all the way to the floor, tie it up about halfway and cover the whole window, or tie it up at the top velco which will print it up a little over halfway up the window. I just would have liked to have been able to make it about 4 inches longer, so instead of it going to about 2 inches above the center of the window, it could go about 2 inches below. But obviously, everyone's needs are differnet so the two position may be fine for most.

    Great for blocking lights and cold air
    This Better Homes & gardens light filtering ballon shade is great for blocking light. I wake up very early in the morning before sunrise and then go back to sleep after so this window shade is perfect for me. It's fairly long, longer than my window. It is adjustable but it covers 3/4 of my window which isn't good during the day when I do want light. It's the only thing I don't like about it. It's fixable, I will shorten it. Anyway It's not just great for blocking light but also cold air if your window leaks, mine does and also from others seeing into your house. It hangs just like any other curtains. It's seems like good quality, it's cotton, feels like soft canvas. The color and pattern is good. It will match any decor.

    perfect balloon shade
    I got the medium filtered shade it's 42in wide x 63in long. They are 100% cotton. They have 2 pull strings on each side of the shade and the cute bow design holds where you want to keep the shade length at. I feel that they keep the light out fairly well even though it says light filtering. I absolutley love this shade and I will be getting a few more for my windows.

    Lovely adjustable balloon shade…
    This “shade” is versatile. The shade is adjustable in length by Velcro strips in the back. It can be used two ways either as a balloon shade or as a curtain. I love the gray light filtering material. The material is not flimsy at all. Very well made. The front has a stripe going down on each side with a sewn in bow attached.

    Perfect fit
    This fit my window perfectly. I purchased 2 others that were too small for my window and this one was the first one that fits nicely. I honestly thought they didn't come in my window size. It does make my kitchen a bit darker because of the color but it's ok because I have good lighting in my kitchen. It's great quality. So pretty.

    Well made shade that is of good material, creases from packing ironed out nice with iron on cotton setting. Hanging it was simple and looks good down or up with ties that attach easy with the Velcro on back that can be either up as a valance or half way to let light in. Happy with it in my guest room, looks good.
