So Pretty! Warm Glow!
I really do love this Better Homes and Gardens Solar Powered Lantern!! I love the black punched metal design pattern that it has all over it!! I love the design that it casts on everything around it!! The lantern is for outdoor use, but I have charged it up from sitting it in the sun for 8 plus hours and have enjoyed it hanging on my deck, but I have also brought it indoors at night just because I love the pattern that it creates when it's on. It works great for a night light in any room!! It is really pleasant to look at with the warm soft glow it has, which is very relaxing! It has a push button on the top, so you can turn the lantern off, if you are going to store it away for a long time. It is great for outdoor parties on the patio or deck. It is a real conversation piece. You can't go wrong getting this lantern!! It's very decorative and would be a great assett to your festivities!! Grab a couple of these and light up the night with it's pretty design!! I highly recommend to everyone! It's a really great product to have!!

Purchased online and received a very used light. It's absolute trash. I don't understand why they would ship the product in a very poor condition. I'm done with shopping on walmart.com!

    Beautiful but disappointed!
    I thought this was so beautiful and was very excited to receive it. Once I opened the box I saw the lantern and a solar light that doesn't fit in it. I'm not sure if this is how it is supposed to be but I was highly disappointed. The lantern itself is beautiful, well made and I really like it. However I took of some stars off because of the solar light that doesn't seem to match. I added photos to show what I received. I feel like for the price it should have came with a nicer light that actually matched.

    Nice for ambiance
    When I receive this it was larger than I thought it would be. It's probably the same height as a 1 gallon jug of milk. I put it outside for one day (mainly because I forgot about it.) And then brought it inside to use. When I turned it on the Lantern on it didn't turn on so I kept kicking the button to make it work but it didn't. I left it alone for a while and when it was dark I noticed it was on in my house! It's seems to be only on when there is a lack of light. Which is ok. I use it for ambiance. It is very pretty due to the design. It is not very bright so I like to have it on to wind down before bed. I turn it off when I'm not using it as opposed to letting the battery drain out. Then I don't have to leave it out in the sun so often.

    It is so pretty. It has little fans cut out of it so that when it lights up it shows fans on the surface around it. It's more of a dim light. It is noted to light up an area. It does holds charge really good. It has a button to turn it on and off. If it's bright outside it of course will not work, that also includes a light. It itself is a beautiful addition to your patio or deck. It doesn't have to be lit to see it's beauty. I like that it has the fans cut together, but in a beautiful pattern. When it does shine the fans pattern is enlarged and looks like wallpaper. I love that you don't need batteries and really can forget about it and it will come on at night without having to turn it on I would highly recommend getting this beautiful solar lantern. It is not heavy at all.

    Beautiful Shapes
    What a wonderful accent piece this lamp makes. It's attractive during daylight, especially if displayed somewhere that hides the solar panel from view. That's really the only detraction, the solar panel and on/off button kind of clash with the otherwise antique style. Without that, it looks like a nice, old lantern. That said, it's still a lovely looking lamp, and it casts a beautiful pattern of light. The single, small LED means there are no competing/overlapping shadows, so the shapes of the metal are perfectly re-created in projection. The pattern is like a doily made of light, and the candle-like brightness and light color create a very nice ambiance without the flicker. Functionally, this is very simple - it's either off or in auto-on mode, illuminating only when the surroundings are dark enough. The whole light is removable, and can be charged elsewhere while the base continues to decorate your space. The rechargeable battery is replaceable, should that ever by necessary. There's not much to say about performance other than it simply works. This is a nice-looking product that reliably performs a simple function. In other words, it's perfect.

    The Better Homes and Gardens Black Metal Punched Solar Powered LED Lantern is a very stylish lantern. I have used it every night since I got it and we just love it. Hassle-free charging, just set it in the sun and forget it, or pop out the solar panel battery pack/light and set it in the sun to charge. It is very well made, sturdy but not heavy. The pattern on it is absolutely delightful when it is turned on at night. It works well to light an area that needs just a bit of light so you can navigate around it. The solar cells charges fast and last quite a while. The only real drawback to it is the button to turn it on is a bit flimsy. I would have loved to see a better button on it. The simple push-button work but if the light has no charge then your guessing as to whether it's on or off. There is no way to tell without the light having a charge and being on. Other than that I feel as though its an excellent product and works very well. I would most definitely recommend the Better Homes and Gardens Black Metal Punched Solar Powered LED Lantern to any friends or family that have a need for a pretty little lantern to light up a dark place.

    I love the look of this lantern. It looks like it's a older version of a old time lantern. Runs off of solar power but wish it was a little bit brighter than it is but it may be in the dark. Great for camping table or just for looks on a shelf.

    Really ethereal vibes!
    This solar powered lantern makes the coolest shadows and light in the room you put it in. I put mine in the bathroom window. It needs to soak up sun for 7 hours then will put off light for about the same amount of time. There is no candle inside, but the solar LED mechanism is in the lid. I have attached pictures to show the cool shadows and lights it projects into the room. The pattern is sort of art deco, which I love. The lantern does not give off light, per se, but when you turn off the lights in the room, it gives off more of a glow. This is really cute and gives an ethereal vibe to the room.
