Poor quality
This toothbrush holder has a foam bottom that is glued onto the base of it. Which is functional in regards to placement security - so that it doesn't slide around in a counter top. However, water that inevitably drips down from toothbrushes ends up leaking through underneath the base of the holder, creating rust and eventually could breed bacteria and mold. I've had this item for a couple weeks. So today I went to take the brushes out and clean it. That's when I discovered water had been getting underneath the foam base. So I decided to rip the foam completely off. Again, I've had this item for only a couple weeks. There is rust underneath it. Which will probably end up staining my countertop. I paid $11 for this item. With this design

    Okay.........
    Love the design of this. Easier to clean than most. Slim to put on a small vanity. I Don't like rubber bottoms as they discolor what you place it on in time. So I place it on a plastic shelf in my bathrm and I don't really care if that gets marred up. BEWARE it CAN discolor what you place it on........esp if what you do gets wet a lot. I can't say about the longevity of this thing? Will it rust? But for the price, then you replace it!

    Warning: Can discolor cultured marble vanity top.
    Warning. I bought this about 2 years ago and placed it on my cultured marble vanity top, and now it is permanently discolored due to the rubber bottom of this toothbrush holder. This tragedy can be avoided by putting something between the holder and your vanity top, such as felt pads.
