Very messy
Such a messy product and process. You will be cleaning your house for two days after attempting to fill the bags. All of this could have been easily avoided by inserting cheap plastic helper tools and a way to discharge static in the bag. Best thing is to watch YouTube to see some clever ways of filling the bag.

    I didn't have good success.
    It was miserable trying to get the filler inserted into the bean bag. The filler wanted to go everywhere but inside. Now I am out $21 b/c it would require more filler to even fill up the bean bag chair, and I can't go through it again. Throwing the bean bag chair away I guess.

    Great for bean bags! My dogs are huge babies and I keep a bean bag for them. Make sure are careful filling up the bag it can become a huge mess very quick.

    Big joe beans
    I liked that you get two extra large bags of the filler but i didnt like how small the fillers were. They were a little messy as well. Overall it got the job done and filled our big joe bean bag chairs and we have some left.

    The Bean Peals are the right size. Wish Big Joe would make a smaller bag, this bag is about 3 feet tall.

    Too small!
    This says that the beans are as large as a pea. You can see by the picture that it's not even close and every day we have styrofoam balls all over the floor...that's after putting duct tape over all the seams on this handmade leather ottoman (from Brazil)

    Bad packaging
    The item itself was fine, BUT when they put the package in the box, they put the sealed side down in the bottom of the box so when I pulled the bag out of the box, to my surprise it had not been sealed completely and the little Styrofoam balls went all over the place! I took pictures and it took me forever to clean them up but thank goodness I was out in our garage! I honestly can say that I do not think I would ever order them again! Wasted so much of my time!!!!!!! The item itself is fine but they better go back to the drawing board with the packaging!!

    You need an empty paper towel roll and 2 people.
    Very happy with the bean bag refill beans. You will need 2 people. One to hold the bean bag you are filling and one to hold the the refill beans. To make it easier to fill you bean bag, get an empty paper towel roll. Cut a small hole on the corner of the bean bag refill and put your empty paper towel roll in the hole and tape up around the hole . The beans will flow nicely out of the paper towel roll and you will have minimum mess ( escaped beans ) . This works great. One bag was all I needed.

    I would just love to share how pleased I am with big Joe products!!! They are made with love and you can tell!! We ordered these bean refills for my son's bean bag chair. And the box it came in was the cutest thing and made my son so happy!!! I'm proud to see that big Joe is a US compat and want to thank big Joe for giving our people jobs and keeping America great!!
