Love!
I have been using this iron for many many years. This is the only one that will hold a curl with my fine hair. It takes a little getting used to because it slips out easily but you will get used to it with practice. Definitely a must buy for people with long fine hair!

Not for Professional Use
I am a professional wedding Hair & Makeup Artist, I do about 200 weddings a year and I need my tools to stay on for hours during my jobs. I bought the Bio Ionic Long Barrel Curling Iron on a recommendation, but it has been the worst. First it wouldn't stay on for more than 15-30min, so I sent it back to the company. They determined it was short in the connection and sent me a new one. The new one only stays on for about an hour, still not long enough for me to do 3,5,8 hairstyles. Worst part is, it still goes off if I'm using it. It's basically useless to me, it's going in the trash and I'm going back to my Chi, at least theirs stay on.

I will say that my hair holds a better curl for days using my other curling iron that was about half the price. but you can always do a touch up if needed.cassandra

I think because I don't need to curl as often and that the curling iron is better for my hair. I love the different heat settings and found I don't need it that hot when curling. The long barrel is very nice for longer hair.Courtney

A month ago, I went to get a haircut and my hair lady had this curler, she did my hair so fast that I became really curious and asked her what the name of the curler was, and she said it was the Bio Ionic Iron in 1.25" (I asked her to spell it because I didn't understand what she had said the 1st time...lol). Although this was expensive for my liking, it has really made me actually excited to do my hair. the barrel is big, so it doesn't even take that long to do your whole hair- 10/15 minutes, (and I have a lottt of hair). The day after curling it, my hair is wavy- no longer curled, but it's fine because I don't have to do my hair again until I wash it and I really like that about this curler. I would recommend.Jessika

It does the job perfectly and takes less time than other irons. It's really worth spending the extra money for it. You won't be disappointed. I bought the 1 1/4 inch and it makes my hair wavy but not too much. If you want more of a beachy wave, then I suggest you get a 1 inch.Tiffany

I have naturally curly hair that curls easily and I can usually go days with curls from my old hot tools or conair irons. I loved the length of this and the feel of it in my hand but ultimately the curls fell within hours, even on the highest heat setting. Also, the clamp did not hold the hair tight enough inside so it would occasionally slip out.Emilie

A woman had to of designed this one. You have to hold down on the power button to change temp and turn off/on so no worries about accidentally hitting it while curling! I have always hated that on all my irons and stylers. That's a great feature but it it curls good too. Very happy!Sonya
