Great Printer!
Very happy with my Brother printer. Setup took about 30 minutes. I downloaded the drivers for the printer which gave me the step by step setup to follow. For WiFi I pressed the WPS button on my router which the printer found. I did not have to enter the WEP password by using WPS. Printer scan, copy and print are great. Crisp print quality. Printer prints copies right away with no cycling and having to wait. Love the black print only and not having to continually insert color ink cartridges. Highly recommend!

No Up-To-Date Printer Driver Software Provided
We have had several MFC Brother printers and they work great. This on required downloading and installing the driver package from the brother website and the software was very difficult to install. These printers need to come with up to date software installed or on a CD.

    Great Product!
    A great Laser printer. Basic black toner which I prefer. Brother is a very good product. Replacing a previous Brother Laser Printer that the drum is no longer working properly.

    Super easy
    Great printer extremely fast and easy setup. Picked up my wireless and didn't even have to enter a ssid or password. Works automatically with my iPhone easily printing my email without getting online with a pc.

    BROTHER PRINTER. Not best for EVERYBODY!
    Nice printer but had a little trouble setting it up. It wouldn't scan after the setup. Looking up how to fix this ; remove firewall still didn't work. Throwing in the towel I surrender. I hate hp. Read printer reviews said brother was best printer. I don't doubt that but it didn't prove the best printer that's best for me. I WILL NOT GO BACK TO HP. Will try a different model or brand that is listed among best printers

    WiFi is horrible!
    Everything is great except WiFi. It is horrible. You have to reconnect the WiFi on the printer every time it goes to sleep, which is a pain in the derrière. If not for everything else working as expected I would have given this printer one star.

    Outstanding piece of ware!
    Highly satisfied with this equipment, easy to set up and operate, great printing quality. Great value as well, the use of toner instead of ink makes a big difference in durability and efficiency. Brother offers informative and effective support in its web pages.

    Good basic B&W printer/scanner
    Good overall printer/scanner. Don't use the fax function and finding that the inability to use the Auto Doc Feeder to do 2 sided copies is more of a pain than I anticipated. Still it does what I need, basic printing docs and occasional document scanning. 4 of 5 stars

    Liking It A Lot
    Wanted to switch from inkjet to laser. Tired of cost and mess of inkjet cartridge replacement. Was refilling cartridges but printer wouldn't always recognize my refills. Brother was not in stock at local Sam's Club stores; ordered on-line; arrived within 5 days. Wired set-up easy. Came with drum cartridge. Large capacity feed tray is much easier than having to feed 15 - 20 pages at a time. Generic cartridge replacement drums are cheap and claim to print 12000 copies. Will save a fortune over ink replacement for an inkjet printer. Hardly ever need color copies but when I do I can scan in color, transfer to a flash drive and then print on a friend's printer or at FedX store.

    Great Home Office AIO, Fast Printing, Scanner+
    Works great... Fast!... Has everything I wanted; The ONLY thing I would recommend changing is the number of different Programs installed in the Automatic Installation... as well as adding to Startup... Way too many! And I couldn't figure out what several were for... I uninstalled a few (some were obv bloatware / A PDF app?... Already have one!) and afterwards still works perfectly!

    Nice - does the job
    Not too bad to connect with wireless. On a scale of 1 to 10 with 1 being easy, I would rate it a 3. It comes with a CD - just follow the prompts! I only used it a few times, but so far so good. So far, very pleased.
