    just what we wanted
    exactly what i was looking for for my 5yo. the "wicker" part of the basket appears to be plastic over a metal frame, which is fine with me since we live in a humid climate where everything molds. the food is wood/velcro. the fabric liner is removable for cleaning. perfect!

    Love this toy
    This set is very well made and the perfect size for my 4 year old granddaughter-she loves to fix the sandwiches and pack and unpack the basket and share the food-great for pretend play and encourages sharing!

    Imagination generation picnic basket
    This play set is super cute. Tons of fun and imagination comes along with this basket of wooden food. The pieces are a little smaller than expected (hence the four stars), but each piece is wrapped with tissue paper to prevent damage during shipping. The contents fit perfectly in the basket and is weighted for 3 years of age to carry around with ease. Our child is a 3 year old boy and he loves to throw a blanket out anywhere and everywhere in the house or outside to set us done and make us a sandwich. He also enjoys being able to cut the vegetables and fruits with the included wooden knife. He loves to share and this added feature was perfect. If you can buy this product on sale, you will glad you did. Your little kiddos will thank you.
