Stay Away!
After a few weeks of use, I got an error that I could not print because I needed to open the panel (even though it is already open)...hasn't work since. Called Canon, they told me they would charge me for assistance. No thank you....I am done with Canon. I would recommend avoiding this printer at all costs, this is a known issue that Canon will do nothing to fix.

    Easy to set up. High quality.
    Easy to set up, high quality. Can operate on its own personal network (your device will connect to it as if it were a wifi access point) if you do not want it constantly exposed on your home network.

    I read through several negative online reviews and debated purchasing this printer model. I decided to go ahead and take a chance. This is my first Canon printer. So far, the printer has worked just fine. It's easy to use and not very loud. I haven't had it long enough to judge how long the ink will last.

    Sold as new but was open box
    Sold as new but box had been opened, ink was already loaded, and some had been used. Packaging tape had been removed from printer and in box packaging was scattered inside the box. Lucky that the machine hadn't been broken during shipping to me with nothing around it in the box. I'm giving it two stars instead of one since it at least did work when I connected it up.

    Awesome printer
    I love this printer. It was super easy to set up and connect my phone. Prints are really high quality. I had a canon printer previously and this one even used the same ink cartridges so that was awesome. I've tried HP and Epson printers and was not a fan. Canon is my %231 choice

    Disappointed
    This printer My husband said was hard to setup. He took about 9 hours setting it up. I can't get it setup with My phone up to now. I bought this printer 3 days ago and May return it. I think I saw 3 different apps I need on My phone and all comes with subscription one was 19.99 a month, another was 6.99 a week and another was 69.99 a limited lifetime warranty. What is going on with all this subscriptions? I am trying to bypass all the subscriptions and I ended up not being able to print. I read some horrible reviews on this printer but I thought I would had a better outcome. Maybe I am doing something wrong please help!!!

    nice printer
    nice printer fairly easy setup. big screen. watch out loading ink can't squeeze the sides or else ink on your hands. 3 out of 5 squirted messy there's a learning curve take off the orange thing and the tape.

    bad purchase
    ths printer didnt work right after i got it. i just thought it was a minor glitz,then paper started getting jammed and after i got the paper out it worked for a while then back to the same noise and jamming up. i looked at seen where the foam that guided the paper was coming out. it turned out to be a royal headake. make sure when u buy this make sure it dosent make any noise and works fine.

    Nice printer for the price with a few extras!
    I got this printer after my Canon TS3100 suffered an accident and broke. I spent several hours comparing printers and brands and prices and features, etc. and I kept landing back here on this one. So I bought it. I was happy with my previous Canon so I went with my instinct. Set-up was pretty simple with no hitches. Despite the fact that I've installed dozens of printers in the past, I still followed the step-by-step instructions and the set up was painless. I have this printer mapped to 2 laptops and 3 smartphones and they are all able to wirelessly print with ease. The quality is good, though not mind-blowing, but for my needs it is beyond adequate. The footprint was a little larger than I wanted and I did a little rearranging to fit it in, but I wanted to avoid a rear feed machine for many reasons. This one has a rear-feed option, but the main paper tray is under the output tray. I love the automatic document feeder for copying and scanning. I haven't used it much, but I did run a couple of copies and scanned a multi-page document to make sure everything was set up correctly. This machine is much faster than my TS3100 and I like the fact that it has separate color cartridges rather than one multi-color unit. Overall, I think my research paid off and I ended up with a nice little printer that checks all the boxes for me. I have nothing negative to say. I've seen others comment that it's frustrating that there is no auto-wake feature, and I agree that could be a pain, but it sits right beside me on my desk so that's a non-issue for me. For the price, I can't expect everything, and I actually got a bit more than I hoped for.

    I honestly like this printer it's super simple and does the job well. It saved me from college homework that needed to be done plus it was a nice surprise that it came with all the inks required plus some gloss paper to print pictures. Plus it's easy to set up and connect to your phone and laptop.
