Excellent tent for the weather.
I heard good reviews about this tent. I didnt believe them at first but this tent impressed me. We had strong winds, hard rain and the tent hardly ever moved. No water came in. I would recomend this tent to evreryone who is looking to buy one. The only down fall is the set up and tear down. Its does take 2 people.

Manufacturing Defect
Two poles on the back do not extend or telescope. This probably explains how they were installed incorrectly D-Pole was flipped 180 degrees. This made the back of the tent not stand up straight. Design suggestion. Do not use the black elastic covers on the hinge points. It gets caught in the hinge during installation and makes it very challenging to fold the legs back over. It also makes it less clear how the mechanism is supposed to work.

    Favorite Tent
We really enjoy how this tent is dark inside. Early morning sunrise will not wake you up that is for sure. Is it cooler? We live in Arizona so I don't think any tent is going to feel cooler. It is nice that you can open all the windows and have almost a screened room and the sun doesn't shine through the dark sides. In Arizona that is a plus! The hinged door is nice because you don't have to zip and unzip every time you enter and exit. It has become our favorite tent. However, recently while camping there was a wind storm. We had the tent staked and all guylines and fly attachments in place. During the storm one roof pole shattered and one side pole bent. One of the lines on the corner of the tent came out of the seam and the shattered pole made a small rip in the rainfly. To put this in perspective these were severe winds! Later reports said up to 60 mile an hour gusts! So, overall I think we came out ok. Just sad that if we can't replace the poles we have lost our favorite tent.

    Awesome
Took my kids camping on the river monsoon season we had unexpected thunder lightning heavy rain wind gusts of 30-40 MI tent held up like a charm I bought this because I'm a single mother who's 5 ft and I like to go camping and I have two little kids that really don't help out just get in the way so this pop-up tent is extremely easy to set up and take down not too heavy I was able to load it on top of my car I love the blackout feature. I would suggest making a rain fly to go over it with clear panels so you can still see the sky/rain that would be nice.

    So Far So Good
So far so good, I have used my instant cabin tent 3 separate trips now and have no real complaints except I do wish the rain fly was lower down the sides of the tent as well as offered an awning for the front. To compensate that i just placed a tarp above the tent for added protection and to give me an awning . Takes absolutely no time at all to set it up and to tear it down. it does help to have another person to help but I was able to do both setup & tear down on my own. My first trip was 4 nights, second was 7 nights, & third trip was 3 nights. All trips had periods of heavy rains and wind and this tent held up fine. The Dark Room works great for those mid day naps on the rainy days. Make sure to have ample lighting in your tent because even in the middle of the day its dark inside if flaps are zipped closed. My wife, daughter, & I slept comfortably all 3 trips. We love this tent and think it will work until we purchase a camper or build a small cabin on our family land.

    This tent saved my kids!
Best Tent Ever! We loved this tent. Unfortunately, in the summer of 2019, we only got to us this tent for one night when a freak storm came through and blew down a huge tree limb onto the tent. We are so thankful for the design and sturdiness of this tent. It saved my 9 year old and my 1 year old's life! The tent held enough for us to get out but was completely demolished. We reached out to Coleman and they sent us a replacement. What a great company! I will tell everyone to go with a Coleman! Can't wait to use it this summer, minus the tree limb.

    The Weather Master
Easy to set up. Took only 7 mins with 2 people, 10 mins with 1. We used for 13 nights and 2 of them it rained. I mean poured all night long. We stayed dry. But we did use a tarp over the top, staked away from the tent sides and that worked wonders. One of the nights a little water got in the corner but it was minimal and didn't get anything wet. Love the D door-so nice to open without zippers all the time. Our dog was able to jump over the bottom and get in easily. Plenty of room. We fit 4 twin and one full sized mattresses in it. No complaints.

    Great tent
We have used this tent 4 times so far. I’m able to set it up by myself although it would be easier with 2 people. Really easy Set up. I did set it up on a windy day 40 mph +. And had some trouble with the rods buckling in during setup, as expected. After the rain fly was installed and few windows were opened it was completely fine. In the morning we’re were able to sleep in past 9:00, so the sun was not an issue thanks to the darkroom tech. I’m completely satisfied with this tent so far.

    Coleman Weathermaster 10 Cabin Tent
Had done some intense "quick" research on this product, as our 20 year old tent gave up the ghost on us on the first weekend of a September Bow hunt in the mountains of NM. We had to find something fast to replace it and my oldest son had been looking to buy this with some friends already. Reviews were all positive and setup looked pretty easy (compared to the 20 year old technology that we had) so we pulled the trigger and purchased it from WalMart, especially since they could get it shipped and to our door before we had to leave on our next weekend hunt opportunity that was 5 days away. PAY ATTENTION ON HOW THIS IS FOLDED INTO ITS CASE. IT HAS TO GO BACK IN WHEN YOU'RE DONE! We ended up having to set this up in the dark for the first time, but after having watched a couple Youtube videos and downloading the setup directions we figured we'd have it down pat. And we were right! This tent was one of the easiest tents to setup and we have no problems what so ever. It was up and and ready to move in with in 45 minutes. Future setups will go faster now that we "know" what we are doing. Now for the inside. The hinged door is a HUGE asset for this tent. Makes entrance very easy and then closes up right away to help in keeping all the flying critters out. The inside is VERY Roomy. We had three of us in the tent, me and my two sons. I am 5'10'' and my oldest 6'1, youngest is 5'7. Had NO problems with headroom or having to duck to get around. Setup three cots, a card table and a fold up 5' Rubbermaid table, along with food boxes and gear. STILL had room to move around. Didn't have any rain, so I can't say anything about the waterproofing out of the box, but sprayed it down with seam sealer anyway, as you should with any tent when it's new and on a seasonal basis thereafter. Tear down was simple and as I said above, if you pay attention to how it's folded when you first take it out, getting it to fit back in its case is not a huge deal. Overall, I have no problems with this tent, but can't say anything to durability over many uses as we've only had the opportunity to use it one time as of this writing. I DO see many trips in the future using this, and leaving the 5th-Wheel trailer at home. RECOMMENDED
