Solid Tent
Used this tent to camp for a few days over the summer. The vents allowed the tent to stay cool, even on warm days (kept it mostly in the shade). Weather was nice and dry so I can't say anything about how it does in water and wind. Setup is simple and getting back into bag was easy. Worth noting the fold pattern when initially taking out of the bag. Will save you time when it's time to break it down. I'm 5'11" and found height of the tent to be great. Plenty of extra room (2 people and large dog)

Waste of money!!!
I was ecstatic about this tent as it advertises it can withstand winds up 35mph. However, the first camping excursion we had winds no more than 15mph and found that the poles had completely splintered and ripped the rain fly. Needless to say, worst camping trip ever...

Not quality I would expect from Coleman
Unfortunately, this tent does NOT stand up to its own description. Snag free... no... the first time I put the poles through, they snagged and actually ripped the material. Secondly, one of the poles splintered during some wind. I wish I could say I recommend this but it is not better than any other cheaper tent out there. I need to reach out to the seller to see if it will be replaced, if not, I will contact Coleman and ask for replacement.

    Needs privacy window covering
We used this tent on a recent camping trip and it worked well except for one feature that I didn't notice in the on-line photos or description: 2 of the walls are completely open air, just a screen, from about 2.5 ft above the floor all the way to the center ceiling. There's no way to cover these windows except with the exterior rain fly. Our previous tent had screen windows on all 4 walls that could be opened or closed with a fabric cover. For privacy and warmth reasons, I don't like this wide open feature at all.

    Great Tent
I purchased this do I could have a smaller and easier to set up tent. This was great. I put it up alone in about 10 minutes (except I did need help with the rain fly). The rain fly was the only challenging issue. The tent was the perfect size. It stayed cool during the day and then was warm enough at night. It is perfect for my purposes.

    Needs Work
The loops the anchor spikes go into need more stitching, and the metal rings are made of soft steel that bends and distorts out of shape. I use 10" aluminum T anchors instead of the ones with this unit. This tent does not do well in high winds, and shattered a pole. I had to get some rope and a fence stake to keep the tent up. The sides should have stake loops to secure them, when it's windy they push into the tent. The horizontal pole holds the rain fly over the entrance and rear like an awning, but also acts as a sail catching when it's windy. It is pretty easy to set up by yourself and will actually fit in the bag when you take it back down. You can use a ground tarp but the floor of this is pretty good and it's not really needed. Not sure if the lantern symbol on the side is supposed to glow but it would be cool if it did as sort of night light.

    Effective but*
*there are a few reinforcements required. First, the tent stakes are ineffective. Replace with metal or durable plastic t-shaped stakes for better performance. Second, the stake tags attached to the tent bottom need reinforcements. One of mine have already torn from the tent due to winds. Reinforce with carpet thread or braided fishing line and you'll be fine but extra waterproofing is then needed to prevent water entry. Lastly, the tent poles are okay, but some paracord tied to each corner of the tent directly on the poles will provide much needed strength when facing moderate winds. One of my poles snapped and splintered (as fiberglass does when it breaks) and I have to purchase a new pole to replace this one before I can use the tent again. Pros: the tent is sisable but I cannot stand upright in the center (I am 6'1 on a good day). Two queen air mattresses will fit inside with little extra space for gear. Excellent for 4-5 individuals with overnight gear, 6 leaves little room for anything else. The tent is easy to set up (2 cross pole dome design with single pole rain fly).

    Quick set-up, roomy
We bought this to replace a 20 year old tent. Its was our 1st camping trip alone, since kids have grown. We got a major thunder storm with heavy rain that lasted a couple hours just as we were finished setting up tent. we Where bone dry.. Most others tents nearby leaked. We got at least 2" of rain. Very roomy for 2 people. Its listed for 6 people, but i don't think it be possible to sleep more then 4 people comfortable. It was very easy and quick to set up.

Easy set up and plenty of room
I'm tall so it's always been a challenge for me to find a tent I could actually stand up in. I upgraded to this tent because my young son and I always fought for space on our queen air bed. This tent gave us the space we needed to get a second air bed (twin size), and still have room for our belongings. I set it up by myself by lantern light in less than ten minutes.

    Nice Tent
The Tent is a very nice dome tent, I upgraded from a smaller dome, model and this one is much nicer. it's a real pleasure being able to stand up as you walk in, and even with a full queen air mattress there is plenty of room to walk around stand up and get dressed, harder to kill those pesky mosquitoes up in the top though, and the pouches are a tad small for all the stuff in your pockets. the quality seems good, although only years of service will tell the real story. the extra ventilation and electric access is a nice addition... if you want a large tent with only 2 pole easy set up this is your tent. the rain fly pole goes in before you put the fly on top. a little brains and you will find a real easy way of putting that up quick and easy, another minor drawback is the vent covers, don't tuck in so you have to manually do the roll and tether thing, but it's no big deal. definitely a nice tent and worth the money.
