Cricut Joy
I returned it… I found it a lot of work in its design space when I already have a silhouette cameo3

A little excited and a little conflicted
I don't like that it comes with no directions or instructions, I don't like YOU HAVE to sign up with a paid service to access cricut designs. I like what you can do with the machine but you have to learn on your own or watch videos.

    Tiny but mighty.
Love this little workhorse. It checks length of material so there are fewer mistakes.

Poor software. Cutting width less than advertised.
Despite what's in advertising and posted on other sites, the max it will let me cut is: 10.76cm width on a mat and 11.42 cm width on smart materials. The software cuts repeated pieces in the most wasteful fashion (forcing you to buy more material). You have to use your own software to undo this and lay things out ahead of time as it will undo things you lay out in the cricut software instead to make it bad. Seems to waste a little material at the ends for no reason as well too - it should start a roll cut near the edge and finish with a perpendicular line to save you from having to cut it (or at least most of it) yourself too. Bluetooth started cutting out and required a reboot too. Otherwise, when it's going, it does what it's supposed to nicely for vinyl and paper/bristol board. Didn't use the subscription service - plenty of free images/fonts online.

    Great little machine.
I have used my Cricut Joy a few times already and I'm very pleasantly surprised with what this machine can do. The shipping was fast and the package arrived in perfect condition.

    Love it
Well I thought I would never get any use out of this machine, but I find that I am using it more than my cricut maker now. It so convenient to carry around with me for all those small projects where my cricut maker was to heavy.

    Cute but limited
I am relatively new to Cricut crafting. I really like the Explore Air 2 but was a little intimidated by it. So, I got the Joy and was underwhelmed. The Joy is so limited I'm what it can do and the size of designs. Absolutely, you can rotate things and such but when you come to large pre-designed decals you're out of luck. Combine that with the fact that this machine has already had a $50 price drop, and it's still only $20-25 cheaper than the much better Explore Air 2. It's a no brainer! Unfortunately, I would also add that this machine appears toy-like in comparison to the full sized machines.
