Beautiful coffee maker but...
Beautiful coffee maker and worked as was supposed to the first few times. Coffee maker still works but the “bloom” does not.

    Great Coffeemaker
    Overall, we really like this coffee maker. It's a distinct upgrade over our flat-basket model that we had for 10 years. This model makes terrific coffee and very quickly. The problem is that the water cannot possibly heat fully before it hits the grounds. While the settings suggest a lower temp, we set it to Xtra Hot for this reason- it seems to help brew an even better cup. Otherwise, we're quite pleased!!

    8 cup coffee brewer.
    Love the coffee maker, however, it shuts off after 2 hours. Would be better if it stayed on longer as my husband sets it for 5:30 am and I usually get up around 8:30.

    Beautiful & works great
    I love the looks of this machine. I've been looking for a “pour-over” style brewer a while & when my last coffee maker died after a year from Hamilton & they never bothered to respond to my emails, I knew it was time to look for a different brand & model. This machine has been great so far. It's only been a month, but so far so good. Brews great coffee, works great so far.

    Good options for Temp. & strentgh
    It would have gotten 5* if it wasn't for the water dispensing. I have to make the coffee grounds to be flat in the filter for it cover all the grounds, otherwise, I found dry grounds on the edges.

    Great Machine.
    Only problem is performance lacking using a permanent basket filter. To get great tasting coffee it is recommended to use a paper filter such as the Melita Bamboo Filters. I also noticed this machine requires a tad extra coffee than the conventional drip machines such as my old Kitchenaid. The bloom feature works great, and I noticed my drip coffee tastes different with this machine, but in a good way. Would recommend at its current price point.

    Replacement of my old drip, much better
    Love it. Easy to modify temp re: flavor, heat, etc. Trial error re: water:coffee ratio depending on the grind size, flavor, etc (like all machines). No regrets. I wish the auto off was > 1 hr BUT keeps it from burning/safety so no complaints (just make two 4 cup pots instead of a single 8 cup pot in the am).

    This machine is a beast it makes the coffee as hot as you want and pretty dang fast it even improves the flavor of the coffee all And all best coffee maker I've ever owned
