New processor
I had a very old cuisinart food processor and the past few years I had some problems. I started my cranberry orange relish for thanksgiving. I make 6 batches, freezing them. The processor died. I immediately ordered a new one. I do t know why I waited so long, this one is fantastic! Works like a charm

Poor functonality
I tried to shred cabbage, about 1/3 got stuck in the rim of the lid. I was excited to get a food processor with a wide feed tube, however you still need to cut food into small pieces so that the safety bar will engage to allow the machine to work giving you less than 1/2 of the capacity. If I had the room to store the box, I would return it!

    Great Food Processor
I sadly had to give up my ancient 30lb or so Cuisinart Food Processor. The parts are getting hard to find and expensive - motor still works great!! I trust the Cuisinart brand so purchased the Elemental. This new one is SO much lighter in weight - I can actually lift it with one hand! It came with a couple of slicer/dicers which I love to use to make cauliflower rice and slice potatoes. Love that you can take it off the stand without food falling out of the bowl. Overall happy with the newer/updated version. Hope it lasts as long as my last one!

    FYI likely refurbished
FYI likely refurbished, which is fine but as a gift I wouldn't have purchased.

    New food processor
Just big enough to serve my everyday needs, and it's light enough for me to handle.

    Great but hard to store
Works great but it is pretty big to store. It's powerful and works great but if you don't have a large place to store it probably not the one. It is bigger than I thought.

New Cuisinart Food Processor is great!
I love the size and the arrangement of 2 discs with different sizes of cuts is great.

    A good food processor
A nice food processor, but certainly not built like the original one I had from 35 years ago. I do like the gaskets on the bowl so flour doesn't go flying everywhere when incorporating flour and butter together. My biggest complaint is how brittle and thin the bowl pusher is...I accidentally dropped it on a tile floor and it shattered. The motor base is really lightweight and the whole processor will move while processing "on" but not too much when "pulsing". The redesign of the blades and slicers is very nice. Overall, I do like it, but I will be very careful handling the bowl and lid pieces.

    Great machine!
Easy to use and clean. Made an enormous batch of scalloped potatoes that sliced up in seconds for perfect uniform size.

Easy to assemble, tolerates dishwasher well
I do love this food processor. It assembles easily and chops like a dream. I also own a 14-cup version (that I mistakenly left at my mother's house, 800 miles away.) My husband realized I should have one on each place. Also, all of it tolerates the dishwasher well.
