Fast chopper, big enough for most jobs.
Chops well, but all pieces being chopped need to be about the same size. In making Cranberry relish with oranges and apples as well as Cranberries some apple pieces did not chop as small as desired, when I tried to chop finer the cranberries got mushy. Unit seems well built, do not have any problems with the operation. Somewhat noisier than I would like.

    Works good, tightens backward
    Does a good job and quickly. I like the 2 different blades. Would have given a 5 star but locking in by turning counter-clockwise seems unnatural. Kept turning it the wrong way, then chuckling and shaking my head.

    You can very easily overheat this machine if you push the Grind and Chop buttons too long. So far, I've just made homemade hummus. I would have held off my purchase and gotten a much larger/sturdier machine had I known.

    One of the 3 piece of plastic used to line up and seat the bowl was cracked, rendering it impossible to line up and lock. Cannot use. Going in the trash.

    I recommend this product.
    Functional, simple to operate and it does the job to chop and grind. I use it to make all kinds of hummus which generally include canned beans, greens, garlic, nuts and oil. I have only one caution to give: Hold down your unit while it's working, otherwise it travels on the counter. I'm happy with this product, can recommend it as I would with other Cuisinart products in general.

    Disappointed
    After the first day returned the item because when putting the plastic top into the base, the nipples that are made of plastic broke off and thus unable to lock the top into the base. Disappointed

    practical but not well made, lid is far too easily damaged in storage to make it worth purchasing... and even though only a small plastic piece broke off my lid it was the tiny part necessary for the entire food processor to click into place/make the blade function

    Nice Improvements
    This is a marked improvement over the earlier models, The blade stays attached when you empty the bowl - very convenient. I find alternating the chopping and grinding modes works well on some ingredients to make them chopped evenly. Very handy for small jobs requiring chopping a number of different veggies or ingredients, like chicken salad. The recipe for Apple Crisp in the accompanying little booklet is worth trying!

    Great Little Chopping Machine
    Works great. Has two speeds: chop or grind. Easy to pulse chop veggies so they don't turn into mush. Has a small footprint, so it's easy to store under the kitchen cabinet.
