Love at first try!
I researched my options for a hand mixer. I read multiple, independent websites for test results. This purchase was to replace a 20+ year old, Hamilton Beach hand mixer that was powerful, but starting to wear out. The Cuisinart 9-speed has surpassed my expectations! Mixed my 4 loaf recipe, thick, quick bread batter in half the time and all the ingredients were mixed. I didn't have to scrape the bottom to ensure all the dry ingredients were incorporated.

Breaks after 10 uses of light mixing!
I purchased this mixer December 7, 2020 and even though I used it less than 10 times since then on light mixing only it broke today while I was trying to mix frosting for Christmas cookies. One of the beaters wobbles around in the hole and makes the mixer unusable. It was a toss up between Cuisinart and Kitchenaid when I was deciding which mixer to buy. Should have purchased the Kitchenaid! Because I purchased the Protection Plan, I'm able to just that and throw this rather spendy mixer in the trash!

    Powerful by poor case design
    Powerful however, the storage case is very poorly designed. Difficult to get beaters and cord into the space available. Does not effect functionality but a real customer dissatisfier with the case.

    Power Advantage Plus 9 Speed Hand Mixer
    This is the perfect hand mixer. Beautifully designed with a compact case to hold the chord and attachments so it stores neatly and is all together, ready for use. Its 9 speeds easily mix to perfection. Nice touch providing a whisking beater and dough hooks.

    Good little hand mixer
    This was a replacement for a 7 speed Cuisinart I bought 12 years ago. For as much as I use it (maybe a few times a month) I think it should have lasted longer than 12 years. But it just gave up the ghost. I like the size of this, it is not heavy, and I kinda like the little storage thing on the bottom which my other did not have. So, I'm hoping this will last at least as long.

    Not functioning properly after a few months
    Worked great for a few months, hence the two stars, but now something's wrong with the motor and it sounds like gears are grating. Only one beater will turn, if at all. Such a bummer! I wish I could use it for everything like I had been doing.

    Great Cuisinart
    Excellent product, very strong. It's pleasing to look at, stores well. Although they aren't cheap, you don't get what you don't pay for. It's a good value!

    A great little mixer
    I love this mixer. It is as powerful as the one I replaced. I had bought a different brand for my vacation home and it was weak compared to thisin comparison. This is a product I can heartily endorse. The reason I did not give it the highest rating is the difficulty fitting the cord into the storage box.

    I have used this hand mixer 5 times in the past month that I've had it, and I like how it operates so far, although all I've used it for is cake mixes, so that doesn't take much effort. I like how the speeds can be increased while in use. On all the mixers I've ever had, I've always wished the #1 speed would be much slower, so the powder doesn't fly all over when you start it; but I've learned through experience to semi mix it BEFORE turning it on so that doesn't happen. I like the clear storage case that comes with it, which holds all the beaters AND the cording.

    Excellent product and convenient case!
    I absolutely love this mixer. The low speeds are wonderful when blending in dry ingredients and it is easy to increase the speed while mixing. At this point, I have only used the beaters, but I do like the new style without the center rod. Lastly, the case is great. I can fit everything inside. My only suggestion would be for the cord to be able to rotate a bit more where it is attached; you do have to work with it a bit to maneuver it in the storage container to close.

    Love the power
    This is a powerful mixer! Stiffened my egg whites faster than my Kitchen Aid stand mixer. I love that it can stand with the beaters still attached. Also, I was excited that the immersion blender attachment from my old Black and Decker fit on this mixer.
