With 4 kids that love to read, my old bag was ripping and tearing due to the high volume of books I had to cart around. There is a front pocket and inside zippered pouch. This was impossible to do because the bag was not that big. The description indicated the bag was 22 x 22 x 6". Accordingly, my block should have fit easily, It was NOT and DID NOT. Very frustrating.John C.

Color me happy.If you want to buy a bunch of these, say to have lying around for grocery trips, your money is better spent on cheaper ones that don't have the amenities (namely the extra pockets) this bag has.Trevor J.

It is "limp" in comparison. So far, this bag is holding up to some heavy loads. I prefer the stiff, crisp feel of the other brand's bag, and I should have spent the money on a new one.Kbroo

My 7 year old son is the ‘leader’ of our household environmental footprint (turning off lights, recycling, etc.) and makes sure we use these every time we shop. They are the nicest I’ve owned. Love the pocket so I don’t have to carry a purse. They are thick, sturdy and wash well. They are large and fit a ton of groceries. LL bean like quality. It’s just fabric that is strong, however flimsy and just flops over when you try to stand it up. I have an old bag that I wanted to replace with this, and my old bag stands up on its own perfectly. I thought this would be the same way, but it’s not.Barbara
