Nice Solid Shelves!
I purchased two different sets of the "Dark Walnut" del Hutson True Floating shelves - one set of 36" and one set 24" shelves at the same time. I had planned on using 2 of the 36" and 1 of the 24" on a feature wall and the last 24" shelf by itself in another bathroom. When I saw the dark walnut stain on the 24" shelf was much lighter than those on the 36", I decided to scrap my original plan and improvised. In the end, I liked how everything turned out and I am very pleased with both sets of shelves. They do look like the typical rough, knotty, hardware store wood planks just stained and cut to size. I could probably make them for myself because I do have the tools and wood stain; but for the price and convenience, this is a much better option. They were very easy to install and arrived with all the necessary screws and T brackets. They don't sit flush against the wall because the brackets aren't recessed but I don't mind the small 1/8" gap. Overall, I would definitely recommend these shelves. They are quite nice and cool looking. The only caveat would be that the same wood stain color -may- not be consistent but, in my case, it was for the better!

Leans but doesn't float.
The look of these shelves is beautiful. However after getting one shelf assembled and “decorated” (note only one of those books are real, the soft cover, the other one is hollow) the shelf would not stay flush against the wall. I will be having to buy brackets for support. So much for a floating shelf :(

    Love these for my toilet room!
    Awesome shelves. Much heavier duty that i thought they would be and nice finish. Exactly what i was looking for for over the toilet to spruce it up a bit. One package came a bit damaged and a couple of the corners were dented in a bit but i just used that shelf higher up and you cant see them. DO NOT use the hardware that comes with them however, they will not hold the brackets secure to the wall. Instead i needed to use the drill in anchors and the screws with a flat underside and it held the brackets very secure on the 2nd and 4th holes. Dont install on 1st and 5th holes as just using those holes will not pull/bend the bracket to the wall close enough. Overall love these and would by again, 4 stars because the included hardware needs to be actually usable and maybe some instructions to tell you what holes on the bracket to use instead of trial and error.

    cheap - flimsy - will probably fall
    the shelf bracket is level and when the shelf is mounted the shelf looks like it's going to fall off. the bracket is also bending and I haven't even put anything on the shelf yet. if I haven't already mounted one of the shelves I would return.

    Shells are excellent quality they are very heavy and solid wood and need good support The hardware that was included do not support the weight of this product but we already knew that from previous comments so we got our own hardware from the store and make sure that will support the weight and it was secured to the stud

    Beautiful shelves, came with wrong hardware though
    Beautiful shelves but came with the wrong hardware. Found out after making big holes in the wall! Thankfully I had other hardware on hand to use instead and just barely was able to cover the holes I had made with the included hardware! Otherwise, really pretty!! They come sanded and stained. There is no poly coat on it which I love because I am going to add a different color stain to these to add some warmth!

    Nice wood shelves but terrible hanging hardware
    Love the solid wood (we used a stain to make them darker like a true walnut) but the hanging mechanisms did not work. ‍️The screws were way too small and couldn't get tight enough into the dry wall anchors. So, we had to drill all new holes and use our own smaller anchors and longer screws. Now the shelves are hanging great!

    Well made affordable shelves
    I've been looking for a pair of floating shelves to go over my towel bar in the guest bathroom for months. Most wood shelves this style were ranging between $70 - $100 and I just didn't want to spend that kind of money on a piece of wood. These are a perfect solution. The stain does give off a strong odor after unboxing that clears out in a day. My only complaint is the placement I needed didn't hit any studs and the dry wall anchors included were cheap and unreliable. The shelves began to pull away from the wall just supporting their own weight. My husband made a quick run to home depot and replaced them with better metal anchors and all is well. It's annoying that we had to do that tho.
