Great sock, great value
These socks are great! They are just a bit snug (I have large calfs) but the nanoglide feature more than compensates. I can walk all day, for long distances, and my feet are always smooth and comfortable in them. I previously had a few spots where other socks would cause calloused feet, and that has disappeared entirely. I'll be buying them regularly in the future.

Disappointment
Foot fits great. Leg portion of socks are way, way to tight. These socks are made for someone who has sticks for legs. Sock knitting falls apart easily. Big disappointment.

    Worth the purchase
    I have been looking for thick comfortable socks for a while. I have to say these have been quite comfortable as I am on my feet walking about 9 hrs. a day

    Additional cushion as described which is great
    Very soft and like the additional cushion that is added. Only hiccup is they can be tight around the legs and there is a knot of fabric that tends to poke out near the toes which can make the soft socks a bit uncomfortable but changing what foot they are on helped. Will probably try sewing the knot out of the way and see if that helps. Even with those two issues the quality is still better than regular tube socks and happy with my purchase so far.

    These are awesome. I wouldn't recommend if you work outside . But if your feet hurt then you might have to give them a try. Mines no longer hurt because of the extra cushion from these socks paired with some insoles

    Not as expected
    Bought these for my 16 yr old son who is a football player 6'1" 216 lbs. with a size 12 foot. His ankle and calf bones are BIG and these are not that big in circumference at the ankle and calf. I was very disenchanted with the fabric/weave that is quite " Large" and that translates uncomfortable in my book. We kept 2 pair and returned the other 6 pair. The socks were too long on his foot before washing....have not washed them yet to know if they will shrink some, but they don't seem to be made of a fabric that will. Big and Tall is more about the foot lengh in this sock not so much the ankle and calf.
