Works well
This shampoo works great for my son' dry hair. His hair is often dry and this leaves it feeling moisturized and looking healthier. It smells nice too which is great. I have been using it in conjunction with the conditioner.

NOT TEAR FREE AS ADVERTISED!!
I was very upset to discover that the makers of Dove are falsely claiming it's tear free shampoo when it is not. My son cries every time i shampoo his hair and this whole time I'm thinking it's because he hates water hitting his head. he is 3 years old and non verbal and cannot tell me what the problem is. As I was showering I decided to test the shampoo to confirm that it was not the shampoo causing him to scream. Imagine my shock when I let this shampoo hit my eyes and it burned like crazy! It actually burned more than some adult oriented shampoos. This is unacceptable. I've already purchased 2 bottles of this and its been so long, I'm outside of the return window so now I'm stuck with 2 bottles I can't even use because I'm certainly not going to keep torturing my child by washing his hair with this. Lever or Dove or whomever should not be making claims such as this if the product cannot back it up. It's not fair to the consumer. Especially when it involves a small child that cannot speak up with something is harming them.

    Life savior no more tears
    My child has beautiful long natural mixed hair! Finding the perfect product for hair type was quite the journey. It only took me 5 minutes to brush out his curls versus 15 to 29 minutes using other products.

    I like the shampoo how hydrated live the hair. My kids curls looks amazing! I will not change to another brand . This is for his curls! And I also recommend the spray.

    This Dove shampoo is perfect for our little textured hair kiddos.The shampoo is enriched with Shea Butter and Coconut oil;therefore,making it a breeze to bypass the tightest of coils to reach the scalp.This product is effective in cleansing and keeping the coils hydrated

    My high school son loves this shampoo very much. He is growing out his hair and after trying so many shampoos he finally found one that he used solely but I think this one has replaced it. He said that he loves the scent. It isn't too strong in smell. He loves the fact that it isn't too foamy. He shampoos his hair every other day before school and he doesn't want to spend too much time in the shower removing foam from his hair or else he will miss his bus. He said that his friends at school stated that his hair has a shine now since using this shampoo. What I like about it is that it doesn't leave a mess after he uses. I like the fact that he just has to press a pump to disperse. I would definitely recommend.
