Better quality in silver 1 year ago
I bought this gate in silver approximately 1 year ago and was so pleased with it that I bought a white version after moving homes. Unfortunately the quality of this white gate is significantly worse. The lock mechanism seems to be a much cheaper plastic and the gate door is significantly lighter, which makes the auto-close and locking mechanism not work as well as my previous gate. I decided to still keep and use this new gate, but I don't foresee it lasting or working nearly as long as I expect my silver one too. (This gate is used to keep my toddler from going up a flight of stairs)

    Very pleased!
    I wanted a gate that was easy to open, would stay open on its own, and my pets wouldn't jailbreak. This was the perfect choice and was also easy to install. Note that the dogs are smaller, only 20 lbs, but it has been the perfect solution for my situation.

    Love it!!
    I love that the gate opens both ways and it has the option to keep the gate open. I keep this up in my hallway bc I have dogs and when I'm not at home I want them in my room. It's easy to open and close my 7 and 6 yr old can operate it very easily.

    Very practical gate
    This was by far the easiest to install gate I've ever used. Just make sure you are careful with the adhesive pads that come with it. I had to reposition one and found that it took off some of the paint on the wall. Otherwise it is easy to use and an affordable option!

    Great gate
    I love this gate for my dogs. It automatically closes behind you OR you can osuh it a little further to look it in place. Assembly was fast and easy. Done in 5 minutes. I have a 39 inch opening and it worked fine. Also have the extensions that came with it.

    Stay open feature is key
    Originally purchased two of the Dreambaby Chelsea gates, but was so annoyed that I couldn't leave the gate open at times. Exchanged them for the Liberty & I am so pleased. Strong & sturdy and useful stay-open feature. It also fits our wide 42" openings perfectly. Love this gate!

    Good product as long as you make it a tight fit
    We bought 3 of these for our new home and they worked to keep our grandchildren safe, but needed to be tightened a few times so that a 2 year old couldnt open them.
