Great surprise gift, daughter loves it.
We have one of these already at home, but our daughter had been mentioning about wanting to have one of these. So we decided to surprise her with this so she can enjoy the same comfort and coziness of having a fireplace heater. Another thing is that this is safe around children and pets, and since she has a 4 yr old child and 2 pets, this was another reason that we bought this because of this safety feature.

when I opened the box and pulled out the heater, there were only 2 legs. how hard is it to do your job right and put the right things in the box? so I have a heater sitting on the floor...w no legs...looks great. And I obviously cant use it...bc its sitting on the heating part, again bc they sent 2 legs w a 4 legged heater! Im guessing that me getting the other 2 legs wont happen...so Ill either return it or build legs....thanks wlamart

    Unit fits perfectly in my fireplace opening. Be sure to plug the unit directly into a wall socket. Caution is written to not use an extension cord or a power strip. Also, unplug unit when not in use.

    Attaching the legs is challenging to anyone!
    I like this heater very much but have to agree with previous reviews regarding attaching the legs! The screws are in very difficult positions to reach with a screw driver. I had to find someone with a magnetic phillips screwdriver to be able to position the screws!

    Finally got one of these to put in my non working fireplace but besides looking cute it really doesnt warm up the room at all :( You have to turn it onto the highest setting and sit right in front of it just to warm your legs. Also i would of liked if i had the option to turn the flames off but you can't.

    Perfect purchase
    I purchased a similar Duraflame unit and had it eight years without any problem. I wanted to update my unit and purchase the enclosed. This is nicer than my older unit being that you can see the flames from the sides. My older the sides where enclosed. I ordered the unit online from Walmart, the transaction and delivery was perfect.

    Great to look at, but very little actual Heat
    Great to look at, just doesn't provide very much heat. If it had the heat vent along the sides as well as at the bottom, it might work better. Being just the small heat vent at the bottom doesn't provide very much heat. Returned to Store for a refund.

    electric stove heater with no instructions
    there are two things I don't like one it doesn't tell you how the legs are supposed to stay on the bottom of this and you put it in there doesn't come with screws you just supposed to put them in there and whatever but I guess every time you move the units are going to have to re put the legs on the other thing is it didn't come with a manual telling you how to adjust temperature to any different thing or whatever so in this I'm very much disappointed especially for the cost I thought I made a smart purchase I'm starting to think that I made a big mistake and going with Duraflame I should have taken up one of the off names that I've never heard of instead of this not happy with this product and it's not Walmart's fault it's Duraflame
