CHAIN CONSTANTLY FALLS OFF
My 5 year old son has owned this bike for about 2 weeks and the chain has fallen off over 5 times. I don't know what to do. Hopefully walmart will fix it.

    Perfect choice
No missing parts. Some of the build was easy enough for our 9 year old to help. It's a good upgrade from a starter bike because he can get a feel of the hand break and still have the peddle break. We bought this instead of a Huffy because of free shipping. Huffy wanted $69 to ship a $69 dollar bike.

    Not satisfied and disappointed
I ordered two of these bikes in different colors and the red one I received was very obviously a returned item. The box it came in was damaged and the bike was scratched in multiple areas. We could tell they just shipped us a returned item without even checking why it was returned. The reason it had been returned before was that where the front tire slots in the bar was bent. The tire wouldn't fit until we pulled the bar to straighten it. We debated between keeping the bike or returning it because this item came in a very unacceptable state for a new item. But to be honest we felt like the return process would be worse than dealing with it as is. I have multiple pictures of scratches on the bike that were taken after assembly when the bike had never been ridden but it looks like I can only upload two pictures. The scratches probably occurred during the shipping process because the box had holes in multiple areas. It looked like they tried to tape the box to keep it together. The other bike we ordered was brand new. No complaints about that one.

You Get What You Pay For
As the old saying goes, "you get what you pay for". We purchased the bike for our grandson that will be visiting us later this summer. Because it is for occasional use only, we didn't want to spend a lot of money. So the price of this bike attracted us. It also ahs coaster brakes as the primary stopping method, which matches his bike at home. The bike is fine for a low end bike. The problems begin with the wheels. Both front and rear wheels were way out of alignment!. Fortunately, I'm an avid biker and have the tools and know how to fix this problem. However, a first time buyer or someone without bike mechanics experience would be out of luck getting it down the road. In addition, the tires are rated at 45 PSI. While inflating the front tire, the tube blew out at 40 PSI. So, had to order a new set of tubes. There is also some noticeable bearing grinding coming from the pedal crank hub. Unfortunately, going cheap in this case has been a disappointment. I would recommend spending a few more bucks and getting a more serviceable bike.
