Needs Work
I bought this for our lake home and have been generally dissatisfied with the results. First, the installation costs were considerable as a standard gas line will not provide enough supply. Second, it loses heat and turns ice cold. When someone flushes a toilet or turns on a cold water faucet, it loses heat. I think the problem is we are on a well and the varying pressure causes problems. However, this should be made for vacation home applications. This one is not and needs work.

    DO NOT Buy! Deserves a negative rating!
    Bought it and had it professionally installed. It has been less than a week and it has NEVER worked correctly. It keeps throwing a code saying the vent is blocked... does this even when the vent is disconnected! Tried to get help from EccoTemp. The tech did nothing helpful, no troubleshooting (which is what the web site claimed he would do). Told me to take pictures and email them to the company and I would be contacted in 5 to 10 business days. Sorry, but I am not going two weeks without hot water from a brand new water heater. I love Sam's Club... but do NOT buy this product!

    Works great!
    We love this new hot water heater. The only thing I would say is that you need to sell as a kit for the piping. We got it done and all but for the price we would of liked everything there. Great machine I can do wash, and someone can be in the shower and do dishes all at the same time. Glad we purchased. The price break was great too.

    One issue
    Only issue is our shower is a lot slow shower head so the water that comes out during the shower is very hot. It gets heated too much. We are switching the shower head to see if that helps to one that has a higher flow rate. Other than that everything else works great.
