High Quality!
Such a high quality, very fast pencil sharpener. Having to homeschool my kids during this pandemic and needing sharp pencils constantly has been a challenge until now. Love this sharper, gets the job done quickly and perfectly everytime. Zero complaints. Definitely two thumbs up and highly recommend.

Fast, easy to use, stays in place
This X-ACTO mighty pro electric pencil sharpener is just that, mighty! It is for commercial use according to the box info. It is a big sharpener, fully electric & so easy to use! I love that the bottom has four little suction cups so it can adhere to surfaces & stay in place while in use! It stuck nicely to my table top, but was still easy to remove the suction & move if needed. I just plugged it in & went to work sharpening. I was sick for a few weeks so I had to take a break from helping homeschool kids, but after the holiday break ends I will be back at it! My kids & my aides granddaughter all have virtual school on Friday's & my niece is fully homeschooling this year, so Friday's are the day we need the most pencils here haha. This mighty pro worked like a charm. There's no buttons or nothing to it, just plug in & go! There is a white LED light that lights up while sharpening & that light turns blue when the pencil is sharp & ready for use! The sharpener scarp container just pulls away from the unit & can be dumped out easily. I also put the unit itself over my can & gave it a slight tap to clean the top portion where the blades are & wiped the back of the sharpener with a damp paper towel so it was fully clean. If you aren't OCD like me though, just emptying the container will be fine for a few uses lol. The sharpening blades (seen while cleaning) are round/cylinder/tube shaped & are obviously very sharp. I was able to sharpen twelve new pencils & two older full ones in a matter of a few minutes! Of the fourteen pencils I've sharpened so far, only two had to go back in for a few seconds, because one side wasn't as sharp. There was still pencil wood covering the lead of the pencil. With a few more seconds in the machine, everything was great. They're all sharp, to a nice pointed tip & write very nicely! The tips also seem nice & strong. This is a great quality, heavy duty, easy to use machine that works great. The younger kids love that they can safely use this themselves & the lights are fun for them to watch, they also said it shakes/tickles their hands when it sharpens. This would be perfect for office/school use & will get a lot of use in my homes for the rest of this school year, until this open up in my state again. After that, I may donate it to an after school program in need so it will be used as often as possible!

    My 8yo bought this for his 2nd grade teacher when her classroom sharpener broke. He picked it out and paid for it with his birthday money. She loved the gift, and I'm sure it will last for several years in her classroom.

    It says it all in the title. I remember in school being extremely anxious because I knew I would have to walk up and sharpen my pencil. The part that gave me anxiety, how loud the pencil sharpener was! This pencil sharpener doesn't give me that problem and I don't wake up my whole household when I'm sharpening my pencil is constantly for my art projects. This is definitely a win in my book! My children have put their fingers in it and because of the safety guard, it will not start. As soon as a pencil is sharpened, it stops automatically. It's sharpen pencils in less than five seconds! I just got some new colored pencils and it sharpens them so much better than the sharpener they came with. Definitely recommend!!!! You can put this in your classroom or house without fear of waking the cemetery...

    This Sharper Is A Beast
    Wow this is the best pencil sharpener I have ever used. This beast has power and sharpens pencils to a sharp point every time. I couldn't ask for a better product. As far as cons go the only thing I could think of is it is AC powered and cannot run on batteries. It has a large container to catch all the scraps. Everyone needs one of these.

    So fast and efficient
    This pencil sharpener is top of the line! The first thing I noticed is the very strong suction cups on the bottom of the pencil sharpener. Once you set it on your desk or counter it does not budge unless you pick it up to move it. The sharpener works very well on regular pencils! Once you stick your pencil in the machine whirls for a few seconds and then the light changes color and the blade stops and you pull a perfectly pointy pencil out. It is extremely fast. I was able to do around 100 pencils in just a few minutes. I also love that I sharpened all the pencils in my picture and it still didn't fill the shavings container up!

    The X-ACTO1606 MIGHTYPRO great & strong sharpener
    I had never used such a great and strong sharpener as the X-ACTO 1606 MIGHTYPRO Electric Sharpener! I always had problems using a cheap sharpener that would not sharpen hard type pencils, or color pencils, and this commercial grade MIGHTYPRO electric sharpener not only sharpens all kinds of pencils, but it has an adjustable pencil size mechanism that grabs really well the larger size pencils. Oh and it has a light that lets you know that when the pencil has been perfectly sharpened. The X-ACTO 1606 MIGHTYPRO Electric Sharpener is sturdy, and it is heavy, so it stays in place to avoid movement when using. I love how easy it is to remove the bin to empty the all the pencil shavings. Excellent X-ACTO New 1606 MightyPro Electric Sharpener, highly recommended.

    Excellent Performance!
    This commercial use sharpener has a Smartstop Led Blue Light to indicate that it completed the task. It has a longer blade life which is excellent for ensuring long lasting effectiveness. Plus it auto adjusts based on the pencil size and has an extra large less mess shavings bin. This is by far the best sharpener I have ever used. My kids love using this sharpener as it is easy, reliable and fast to use.

    Amazing, 2 to 3 seconds to sharpen a pencil
    X-ACTO 1606 MIGHTYPRO ELEC SHARPR N is an amazing machine. It is on a total different level from other electric sharpeners. This is perfect for artists, schools, and offices. This a premium sharpener, I am old time teacher and sharpened pencils by hand and with lesser machines. I literally can sharpen 60 pencils in 2 to 3 minutes and get a perfect point. It us not going to keep sharpening, it stops when done. The machine will pay for itself it pencil savings and time. It is a large machine so you can do a lot of sharpening without having to stop to empty it. It has suction cups to keep it securely on the table and the shavings bin slides out so you do not have to ever move it. It has an LED light on the pencil hole it turns white when shaving and blue when it stops. Again it takes 2 to 3 seconds to sharpen. The pencil hole adjusts to different size pencils which makes life easier. It us an attractive machine and looks good in any office settings. It is also very quiet for a sharpener as well. I highly recommend the X-ACTO 1606 MIGHTYPRO ELEC SHARPR N, it is the best sharpener period.
