Great Tablet
I recieved my Ematic Tablet almost 2 weeks ago and have been working with it since, this is an excellent tablet with headphones, so nice to have a small useful portable PC. The clarity of the screen is great. I've not owned a tablet before and am very happy with the usefulness of it. Yes I can recommend going and checking out these Ematic tablets for yourself.

Not happy at all
I order this tablet for my 8 year old bday. He already had to wait a day after his bday for it to be delivered. Then when it came it had scratches already on the scene. The tablet had to be snapped together on the side. Smh. I am not happy. Haven't charged it to see how or it even works yet. He's 8 and rough. I didn't want to spend but so much on a tablet considering this is probably his 4th or 5th one. But I also rather he crack and scratch it up instead of it coming scratched up already.

    Good enough.
    This device is not compatible with a lot of the apps available on the Google Play Store. It is slow, and buggy... but I'm not a power user. I just need to be able to communicate with government and medical offices. They're systems are old, slow, and not the best, either. Sometimes, it won't come out of sleep mode. I guess if I leave sleep mode off, I won't have to worry about, that. Headphones are not high quality; but snug and seal outside noise from ears.

    Poor Quality and Silly Design
    Slow! Plastic clips to hold tablet is a dumb idea for kids as they will certainly break them.. hard for an adult to snap it in. Keyboard PLUGS IN..NOT WIRELESS. Another thing a kid can easily break. Not worth it.

    The item was damaged the packaging was not safe enough. The screen was broken and I requested a refund but I am unable to send it back because of my location and the cost to send it back. The seller did not even offer to give me a new screen . My money was wasted. I did not get enough option to state my complaint. But if the seller is seeing this would like my refund or a new tablet or screen because I cannot afford to send back the damaged item. I live in Jamaica and my nephew needs it for class. There is a picture of the broken screen below.

    Basic but better than expected
    Genral description: The Ematic EGQ238BD is a tablet with a 10.1 screen and 16GB. It has Android 8.1 GO as the OS, which is a pared down OS to make the tablet faster. It comes with a 1.5 GHz processor. It also comes with a pair of matching headphones and leather keyboard. Other features: Android security patch May 5, 2019, not sure this is the latest A SD card slot, which is great for adding memory Only detects 2.4 WIFI, which is not so good since I like to use a 5 Ghz The keyboard is great, because my eyesight is starting to go and a keyboard makes it easier A headphone, but not a bluetooth headphone, so you are only able to use the headphone close to the tablet Unpacking: The tablet had one side that was open – not snapped shut – that was a bit odd and I wonder why. But I pressed on it and it snapped shut. Setup: I had to reset the tablet to factory settings twice before it let me add my account and other setup info. Not sure why. Usage: I use my current 9-inch tablet for watching Netflix, some PDF Ravelry patterns for knitting and crocheting I download, so that's where it is nice to have a micro-SD to save these things to, and some small games, mostly HOGS or other lightweight games, nothing violent or complex. The Room I, for example, plays fine. Screen: Not as brilliant and clear as my current tablet and the battery lasts only a few hours. Not easy to find a screen protection for this tablet – the screen is covered with what I think is not a regular screen protector. I peeled it off because it was scratched and stained and then had to cut something else to size. Summary: This is a very basic tablet, nothing fancy and not especially fast, heavy, especially with case and keyboard, but it is enough for some general use such as Netflix or a simple game. The tablet is not stuffed full of apps you don't want or need that take up space, although I could have used 32 GB instead of the 16. The screen is not very fancy but still good, the speed is not fancy but still good. And I am not sure this tablet will have an Android update. But for the price, this is a nice beginners or child tablet with a few extras such as the case, keyboard, and headphones. Since I can position it at a slant, this will be my bedside tablet for watching some TV or checking my email before going to sleep.

    Nice and bright and easy to use and thought it would have been cheaply made-but No it was just right for us and worth buying. It was easy to connect to Wi-Fi and so far nothing wrong with it

    Great tablet
    I really enjoy using this tablet. I like the compact size and ease of using it. It can do anything that my smart phone can do, other than text, and my grandsons like playing their games on it. It doesn't have a lot of memory, so if you use apps that require a lot of memory, it's not ideal. But it's good for social media and routine functions, like email. It can be used with or without the case, and attached keyboard, as well as the provided headset, which allows my grandsons to play their games without being distractive towards others. It's functional with or without the case. I highly recommend it.

    I was so excited to get my first Ematic tablet, why, well this 10.1 " HD tablet has alot of features, let me go thru them all, front and back camera, love that, now this Ematic tablet comes with a leather keyboard and a stand to hold up the tablet, nice feature, it has a headphone , and a quick start guide, which is very helpful, and USB cable & wall charger. Plus you have 5 colors to choose from, of course l took black, This Ematic tablet is a powerful 1.5 GHZ processor for all your apps. With a touch of your finger and the big 10.1 " screen, and its 16 GB of built in storage. Plus a slot for the Micro SD card, the battery inside this unit is 3.8 v, there's wat too many features to list
