Accuracy is rated very high by consumer reports
Consumer reports gave this model a high rating for accuracy, so I thought I would try it. I am very pleased with the consistency and the accuracy! The cuff is large enough for a large person, but easy to adjust to a smaller size. The other brand I was using was wildly different in readings, not consistent. This one is a much better tool. I would recommend this to you.

I think I got one of the duds....
Within a period of 10 minutes I had the following results: 99 sys 73 dia 99 pulse 164 sys 96 dia 102 pulse 151 sys 100 dia 97 pulse 166sys 107 dia 93pul 150 sys 98 dia 94pul 162 sys 107 dia 90 pul Needless to say I'm returning. I'm starting to realize that the only accurate readings may come from a hospital or clinic. I've heard the free machines in stores aren't accurate, and the reviews here range.

    I wish I could give this product NO STARS! This product is HORRIBLE. Inaccurate readings and lots of errors. Such a waste of money. I will return this product tomorrow. IT IS TRASH!

    Wrist band makes this version unusable
    Very unhappy with this version due to the d-ring closure on the wrist band, It does not allow for a good closure and gives very inaccurate results due to this. The Equate 6500 Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor has a wrist band that opens all the way, and allows for a better fit and more accurate results. I returned it this and bought a second 6500 model

    Not great in a professional setting
    This wrist cuff might be just fine in a home setting but for nurses it is not a good pick. The band doesn't open all the way easily so you have to slide it over the hand, difficult if your patient is prone to moving around a lot or has contractures. Also it goes through batteries super fast.

    I am always a little cautious when buying blood pressure cuffs electronically, however this cuff was spot on, it was easy to use, apply it to your wrist hit the button and there you have it. Is very simple instructions and the cost was an added bonus.

    Overpriced and poor quality.
    Cheaply built. No back light. Battery case is awkward and took 10 minutes to replace. The strap is very very stiff and will not hold. I will not ever buy another.

    Review - Equate 4500 Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor
    Nice portable wrist BP monitor, easy to set up and use. Convenient and ready to go with batteries that are included! Little carry bag keeps it protected when traveling. Offered at an acceptable sales price. When compared with an arm BP monitor, it gave near-same readings, verifying it's relative accuracy. Very easy to use medical device when on-the-go or traveling.

    Blood pressure monitor
    I had an old BP wrist monitor and it was giving me and my wife some suspiciously wrong readings at times. This model is easy to use. The readings my wife and I are getting are closer to the ones we get in our doctor's office.

    Works fine. I have had several OMRONS before. Most important my old one went out when I like to check my BP every day. I ordered this one on Saturday night and it was delivered Monday morning! Wonderful.

    This is the best one I have found yet.
    This one is the most accurate blood pressure cuff I have found that Walmart sells. I like how easy it is to read and how big the numbers are so I can see them very well. The batteries don't die for a long time I got a good six months out of them and that is me checking my blood pressure every six hours approximately. I would definitely recommend giving this one a try above all other ones it is my favorite.
