best protein deal around
It's a standard chocolate protein drink, 30g. I lift so I drink supplemental protein. The taste is very good, as good as anything else out there. The packaging is recyclable. It does have seaweed-based thickener (carrageenan) but I tolerate that stuff pretty well, and I only mention it as a heads up to people who have inflammation concerns. In all, you can't even mix your own protein for as inexpensive as this stuff is, and considering the ingredients, there is absolutely no better deal to be had. I'm really glad I found this product.

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!!
EWWW! I don't understand what is wrong with this product! This shake I received must be spoiled! There is no other explanation as to why it tastes so disgusting! Me and my daughters almost vomited. The expiration date is not until 2021, but they must have put expired cartons in a newer box. I'm inserting a picture of the white and brown chunks that were found in the cartons of chocolate shake.

    good but not vegan nor lactose free.... artificial flavored should be organic natural flavored high vega protein with 30 grams of high protein per bottle .

    Wasted money
    I ordered two chocolate protein shakes. I received one chocolate and one caffe latte protein shakes. I can not drink caffeine. So half of my delivery is wasted. I can't exchange the latte to a store because they don't have chocolate , that's why I ordered them to be shipped.

    This protien shake is OKAY. I taste a little grit at the end which i do not like. I like that its not thick, however the flavor is not bold loke other brands.

    I have been buying these for awhile. Occasionally, there'd be a sludgy, thick batch. Today, I got a new surprise... I found a hard chunk and poured the rest into a glass. It looks like black rubber or plastic. not sure who to get in touch with about this.

    So THICK it's disgusting!!
    I regularly buy these shakes. About a month ago I noticed it was so thick you had to squeeze it out of the bottle. At first I thought I got a defective case. Then I bought a second and it was the same way!! I wrote customer service to see if the ingredients had changed. They responded and said someone will be in contact with me. I've heard nothing and it's been about a week. Now I'm out $30 on two cases. I will not keep purchasing. It makes me want to gag while drinking now. The old version was so good, I wish they wouldn't have changed it. I tried adding it to coffee and it clumps and sits at the bottom like sludge. It won't even mix in. Don't purchase unless they change it back!

    New formula is 2 thick. Old formula was the best.
    I'm scratching my head with questions. For the last 3 plus years (and likely longer), the Vanilla Equate shakes were almost identical to the Premier shakes. Then something happened. On my most recent order, I "chatted" with Walmart and received a refund on one case because the shake was so thick it had to be forced out of the container that the shake comes in. Actually, I thought the shake was defective. What I hadn't realized is that the same issue was present in the other 3 cases I purchased. Now, each day I use this "new" formula, and I'm scratching my head wondering why the formula was changed. Is this thick formula "normal?" I love this product in its original form. If this new "thick" formula continues, I will likely return (unfortunately) to Premier Protein shakes. BTW I noticed on the "new" container that the calories are up to 170 from 160. Why the change? 10 calories isn't a deal-breaker for me. Yet, I noticed that there's an additional 1 gm of saturated fat. I'm wondering whether the saturated fat added to the "new" formulation is a "thickener"? If yes, Walmart, please remove the thickener. Not because I'm concerned about 1 gm of saturated fat or an extra 10 calories. Rather, please remove it because the prior formulation was excellent. It shouldn't have been changed.

    If you like to drink pudding, this is for you!!
    I used to love this in my coffee. The product has changed and now it is like a thick pudding in a carton. I did call the customer service number and all she recommended was to add some milk to thin it out. No thank you or offer for a refund. I did get a refund when I returned the product at Walmart. Very disappointing.

    I have been buying this. Protein shake for 2 year and they must have changed the formula it is thick like pudding once it get cold, I tried 3 different cases with different expiration dates and all where the same. Now I have to find a new protein shake!

    Formula change ????
    Did the formula change on this product? I have bought these religiously for about a year now and have never had any issues. But the last 3 times I've purchased, it has been a thick sludge. The first time I thought maybe it was a bad batch, then I went back and got the same texture the 2nd and 3rd times. Luckily when I called the number for customer service (which I never do) they were helpful and offered a gift card for reimbursement. If you like drinking pudding, this is the drink for you. I don't think I will be buying this his again.
