Better than name brands
I prefer this to any major brand equivalent. Smooth and flavorful. The only issue I have is getting enough of it. They do not come by the case. I have intestinal cancer so I drink 4/ day to maintain my weight which means 20 six packs a month. Stores only stock a few at a time and restrict how many I can purchase online. So to get free shipping I have to order additional items.

Great product, terrible new packaging.
After an overdose of chemotherapy, I awoke from my coma in late 2014 with a feeding tube inserted into my stomach and was told it would be some time before I could eat any solid food. In the 7 years since then, Equate Plus Nutritional Shakes have been a mainstay of my diet, a true 5-star product. I have had at least two 350 calorie bottles every day. That's more than 5000 bottles. When my latest shipment arrived in January, 2022, I was horrified - I couldn't get the new (and "improved"?) bottle open. I used to be able to open them easily with my bare hands - not now. OK, I'll put on my running gloves with the rubber grippers on the palms and fingers. Still no luck. I actually had to use my bottle cap gripper and even then it took all the strength I could muster to get the cap off. What's wrong here? First, the new cap is significantly smaller in diameter, about 38 mm compared with the old cap at 43 mm. So there's 12% less gripping surface than before. But the new cap is also shorter, 8 mm vs 13 mm, reducing the gripping surface another 40%. In total there's only 50% as much gripping surface as before. Even worse, the knurling on the new cap is almost non-existent compared to the old one. The new packaging is a huge setback, if not a total disaster, for those of us with impaired grip strength. The biggest reason I got a W account was because of my constant need for Equate Plus; now I find it's been made almost useless by the new packaging. On the positive side, the new bottle weighs only 26 g vs 33 g for the old one, so there's a 22% saving in manufacturing and recycling. For me that will be a 100% saving, as I'll have to find another nutritional shake that tastes as good as Equate Plus chocolate.

    The best nutritional shake on the market
    The flavor is so much better than any other nutritional drinks, more calories than the other in which I need. Doesn't taste like a nutritional drink at all. Love it

    It seems that Walmart can not stock the Equate plus nutrition shake chocolate on a regular basis. I have to drink one shake 3 times a day for the protein. This is all I can afford.

    Great product, best price in genre
    The Equate 350 cal nutritional shake tastes as good as Nestle's Boost but at a far lower price An excellent value, IMO, a better and less expensive product than Walgreen's, private label, Ensure or Boost

    My son doesnt eat enough during the day, so he drinks these. Accidently bought one regular box and one plus and didnt realized I got charged for the plus twice.

    This taste much better than Ensure! I actually crave it it's that good BUT you must get this one , the PLUS. It is not watery like the rest. It is so good! I hate that the price has gone up nearly 5.00 !

    Tastes gross, get Boost instead
    It just doesn't taste good and the cap is oddly hard to open. I tried it as a cheaper alternative to Boost, but it's not worth it to save a few cents.

    GREAT STUFF FOR DIET AND CAMPING
    I have been using this and the vanilla for my diet to keep my weight down during covid. I eat a couple of oatmeal bars and 1 or 2 of these nutritional shakes for breakfast to start my day. I also use them while camping hiking and hunting to use as a snack. EXCELLANT STUFF.

    These shakes have been so beneficial for me over the years. They help me to maintain a health weight and are the best tasting that I have tried. The cap can be a struggle for me to open sometimes. I hope Equate is working on a dairy free version of these because thats the only reason I've slowed down on these. I am trying to avoid dairy, but these taste better than regular or plant based ones I've found.

    This is the best tasting shake. Ordered the Plus for extra Protein. Good price too. Have to order because we "old folks" don't go too far for food
