Flimsy/Broken in package upon delivery
Came broken. Flimsy wooden material. Broken before even unpacked? Glad I didn't go about mounting it just to have it broken after mounted. Returning.

    Kind of difficult.
    Love this gate, however it's difficult to open and close. Almost like it didn't fit to the attachments it came with, but once you get the hang of it you can do it with one hand just not very quickly. Pinches your finger if you don't grab it perfectly. Keeps kids out for sure 5 year old can't open it. Also Nana proof.

    If zero stars was an option....
    In twelve years of using baby gates, this one takes the cake. It's NOT a one handed gate. In fact, with two hands you might still get pinched closing it. The paint gets scraped off, the locking mechanism is clumsy, the gate sections don't slide back and forth easily which they need to for opening and closing. This gate is getting returned. If it wasn't so badly over priced it would be falling sideways a great distance.

    Could be better ..
    Product is only average. Does the job but the screws didn't fit and had to use my own. I like that it matches my hardwoods but that's it. For the price of this gate I was expecting better.. the open and close sliding isn't the smoothest but works. If I was to purchase again I'd choose a different gate model/brand.

    It's fine
    It's fine. Once closed it completes its purpose but the latch is stiff, and to open you have to slide it back a little and when you slide it back the gate gets a little wonky because it's a little flimsy and it's difficult to slide back to close.

    Okay this is extremely rickety, can't install on baseboards and also can't be higher than 3” off the floor so?!? What do they expect no baseboards or studs all over the place….. does NOT slide easy and I would hardly call it a one hand maneuver… i prefer the cheapest one you can buy to this truly lol

    We ordered this gate to replace one that had gotten broken, this gate is tall and wide enough for what we needed, however it is so hard to unlock our 9 ur old cant open it. its like it gets stuck every time. Next time Ill order the more expensive one at lowes that osnt such a hassel to lock and unlock.

    It works great. I have it on the stairs going down to our basement so that the dogs and kids are going up and down. The gate swings both ways and slides back and forth with ease. Would love to purchase another but they are always out of stock.
