Leaking/Bad Oil Filters
I had 2 new/unused Fram oil filters (10575) that I put on my truck (2013 Ford F150 with Ecoboost) that have leaked. I've been doing my own filter changes for 30+ years and, for the most part, used Fram filters with no issues. The first filter I put on went for a couple of weeks before it started leaking on my epoxy coated garage floor (so it was obvious to see). Thinking it might have been an operator error (me), I put another one on that started leaking immediately. I always make sure the engine surface is clean, and a small amount of oil is put on the filter before installing it, and I make sure not to over (or under) tighten the filter, so this doesn't appear to be an installation issue. After the second filter leaking, I took it to my local repair shop thinking there must've been another problem as I've never seen anything like this before. The technician confirmed it was the filter leaking, replaced it (with another brand I imagine), and I drove my home approximately 20 miles and there is no leakage. I contacted FRAM and they sent me a lengthy form to fill out and indicated I would have to pay to get the filters sent back. More trouble than it is worth, which is what I'm sure they were counting on. However, I will no longer purchase any FRAM products.

    Great filter
I always change my own and families oil in there cars and trucks. I love rough grip on filter, never need wrench, which is almost impossible on some cars. We always keep cars and trucks for at lest 250000 miles and as much as 400000 miles,no engine failures, using these filters and synthetic motor oil.

    Fram oil filters
I have used Fram oil filters for at least the past 15 years without one single failure. I recently sold my 1998 Ford Ranger that had the 3.0 V6 with 187,000 plus miles on it. Never had one problem with Fram filters nor any leaks. Just made sure engine surface area was clean and tightened per instructions.

    Good price
The filter is filtering oil like it should. It fit my '06 Jeep Wrangler. Price was right, just had to wait for it to get to the store so I could pick it up. I'd do this again.

    Perfect fit
I bought this for My John Deere Lt 105 lawn tractor. A lot cheaper then buying the one with the JD label at the HD store.

    Easy to use.
No problem with changing the filters. We haven't had it very long but seems to be doing its job.

Used in a 2009 Chevy Aveo
This filter works. I'm no pro to say it works better than the exact same filter with a different brand name. But it does trick. I used to drive vehicles that use that metal screw on type of oil filter. Those are a lot cheaper then these paper type. So it gets a three for value until the price comes down! But compared to Autozone and advanced auto parts, O' Reilly's and other auto parts stores, Walmart does win for the lowest price. I had a good experience shopping online and having them ready for store pick up in a few hours. Haven't returned the product for any faults. Installed in my car like the last one. I am a happy camper!
