Good quality filter
Look. If you go online to these geeky oil forums people will love to bash on Fram filters and talk about how their brand is so much better. You know what? Who cares. Buy a decent filter and change your oil every 4000-5000 miles. End of discussion. I've used this FRAM on multiple subarus from the early 1990s. The one I'm driving now has almost 180,000 miles and the engine sounds like a sewing machine. Fram makes a decent filter at a good price. Are there better and fancier filters? Sure. But they cost more and I'm not sure the value is there. I'd rather do oil changes more frequently.
