The bear that plays music and lights is hard and when it swings, it hit my Granddaughter in the head resulting in a screaming baby. I dont want this thing hitting the baby again so I have stopped using it. I wish it would be replaced with sonething similar that has soft toys only .

Perfect for 1 month and over. Not too big fits in the crib and play pen. Recommend!

    Fairly good Play Mat
I purchased this and within a month the otter fell came off hook. My son enjoys playing with the otter. I am unable to get it back on the hook. Other than that my baby loves the crinkle rainbow. I just wish it lasted longer than a month.

    Good but could be better
My son loves this play mat. HOWEVER I have an issue. The orange animal that plays music is quite heavy and hard plastic, when you hang it on the loops it sags the whole thing. It was swinging and hanging so low it hit my son in the face while he was playing. Luckily he's a little trooper and didn't cry too much but I still felt awful!! I took it off and laid it to the side for the music and lights. He loves the green snail and the black and white rainbow though, he will play and look at them for a long time before getting frustrated or bored.

Great but needs one big improvement
One design flaw . One of the hanging ring toys is A hard plastic hanging toy that looks like an orange otter or some type of woodland critter. It has a button you press on the tummy and it plays music when you do. Only issue is, it's hard enough to injure a little baby. My two month old loves this mat but he rolled too quickly towards the hard plastic toy and it smacked him in thr face hard Enough that it made him lose his little baby mind crying! He loves that toy too since he loves it plays music . It should be a soft fabric toy. They could make it like that if they wanted to. Might be more expensive but I'd pay a little more if it meant there were no hard plastic dangly toys in these mats meant for tiny little babies jsut learning how to do things.

    Good for the price
The mat is thin so would only be good on the carpet. Otherwise good product for the price. Has one toy that requires batteries.

    Good but…
The hanging beaver is a safety issue. It hangs low enough to hit baby in the head when baby hits it. I ended up removing it.
