Good soil
Very light good drainage.lots of peat so soil dries crusty hard and water wont soak in right away.maybe dont let soil dry all way between watering.i mix with fox farm ocean 50/50 or patio plus my plants luv it

This is not 14 lbs...it's 12 lbs...also for the cost it's not worth it...I'm hoping this dirt is good for my plants ...I'm miffed about the amount or lack thereof!

    Works as good as it sounds!
    What can I say other than this is what professionals told me I should use. It's composition also seemed right according to the literature. It does however cost several times more than so-called garden variety potting soils even though it doesn't look ? much different from Miracle Gro. Everything worked great in the six inch resin starter pots then one gallon plastic pots in my grow tent. The sprouted seedlings took immediately and the growth rate was from outer space ? using worm castings and very low concentrations of the three sequential hydroponic nutrients. Of course it drained great yet retained water for days. Next time I will check it out in a grow bag. I might try other indoor potting soils in the future but for now I can find no fault with Fox ? Farms Happy Frog ? potting soil. Besides, if you don't like the name it's not for you anyway so take the word of a retired Ph.D. Research ? Chemist and Mensa Member.

    The dirt itself is great! the seller is responsive and will help. it's a shame some people put low reviews but All types of dirt may have bugs, just put the dirt in some pots and keep separate from ur other plants and water with 50/50 hydrogen peroxide and water after a week or 2 good as new. just be sure to Add fertilizer.

    Ive used this soil for years. Plants grow well in the soil. I recommend it to any gardener except I wish it cost less but I buy it because its worth it
