FFHF-One of the best organic soils on the market!
Iâve used Fox Farm soils for a couple of years now. Every since I made the switch to Fox Farm soils, I swear Iâll never go back to Miracle Gro again. What I do is use a 50/50 mix of FF Happy Frog and Fox Farm Ocean Forest for my plants and since Iâve been doing that, my plant babies have gotten bigger, healthier and more beautiful. Iâve seen some people complain about fungus gnats being in these soils and that is true. I had to deal with those pests this last winter when I brought my plants in out of the cold. They never harmed my plants and I got rid of them pretty easily with a moxture of Dawn dish detergent, neem oil and water. Sprayed on the soil and plants and got rid of them. They never hurt my plants. In my opinion, youâll probably find fungus gnats in any organic soil, but youâll be happy when you see how healthy and beautiful your plants will grow when you use this line of soils. I most definitely do recommend this fertilizer to any gardener who prefers organic soil. My recommendation would be to use a 50/50 mix of FFHF and FFOF. Your plants will thank you for it and youâll be happy you did it.

No. I have to repot all my plants again!
Ive heard good things about this potting mix so since miracle grow brought fungus gnats in my house I decided to repot all my plants with this mix. I was so disappointed because 2 days later, I had discovered white mold in most of my plants and a week later fungus gnats were back. Owlet are not in the middle of freaki winter and I am worried about this mold more than gnats! You guys need to make sure that your product isnt contaminated! I have a baby at home and I dont want this mold in the house! I only watered my plants once just right after repotting and I have a fan constantly circulating air so this is not my set up problem. I also didnt have this mold issue before so this is very frustrating.

It never has gnats and the mix is dry and not wet like some of the cheaper bags are. It is pricy but worth it for my house plants. Shipping took a little longer than usual but that was probably out of WalMart's control.Rita

The mix also includes perlite that helps the soil to retain moisture. I would definitely purchase this product again.Wendy
