Massive!
These things are HUGE!! I've only had them out of the can before and my boyfriend wanted to cook fresh ones…we were both pleasantly surprised at how large they were. Can't wait to try them!

    The artichoke was covered with some kind of brown film. It could be peeled off but it was so gross I didn't want to mess with it. That is why I hate to buy produce on line. Learned my lesson

    Arrived damaged and rotten,I guess the employee who picked these must like expired vegetables for themselves,because why else would they pick them for Walmarts customers?

    Delectable Treat!
    Best artichokes we've ever had! Meaty, tender and huge!!! Steamed in lemon water and dipped in homemade Hollandaise. The month of May must be peak season. Truly, these had to be tasted to be believed! I've been making steamed artichokes for over 40 years. This was a remarkable and tasty surprise!! Thank you, Walmart, for sourcing such delicious produce. Genuinely surprised and very pleased.

    No Quality Control to Assure Freshness
    We buy these artichokes all the time. It's really a big gamble on how fresh they are delivered. Most times they come soaking wet, like they were stored in a barrel of water. Sometimes they are really spoiled, moldy, empty, or dried out with many cracked leaves. Other times they are okay, not too old and can be eaten. Rarely is the quality good. Please Note : This has been my experience having them home delivered. If you go directly to Walmart, I'm guessing your chances of getting better ones would improve, by selecting them yourself. It's very disappointing and frustrating to order them and not be able to enjoy eating them. I'm hoping the Walmart Stores in my area can improve their quality control and I can be a happier consumer.
